Photo by @babaktafreshi | “Canon lent me the new astrophotography #EOSRa to test out on a recent project in New Zealand. The parting clouds and setting Milky Way in this chilly midnight of Queenstown, provided a dynamic scene on the shore of Lake Wakatipu. Using the EOS Ra with the 15-35mm f2.8 RF lens I set up for a time lapse sequence. Looking toward the south, in the sky the galactic core is disappearing on the right while the Southern Cross and Carina nebula are rising on the left. Almost 800 shots are captured in this 2.5 hours long time lapse. One single LP-E6N battery in the camera lasted for about 1400 shots on that night which is impressive to me for a mirrorless system.” #eosra #astrophotography #nightscape #timelapse #newzealand
