A day trip from Tokyo to Chichibu, Saitama 🇯🇵
This time, we took the Laview limited express from Ikebukuro and traveled to Chichibu for a full day of nature, culture, local food, and relaxation.
Our main destination was Mitsumine Shrine, a beautiful mountain shrine located about 1,100 meters above sea level. Unlike many shrines in Japan, wolves are worshipped here as sacred messengers of the gods.
After visiting the shrine, we enjoyed Chichibu’s famous Waraji Katsudon, relaxed at a local hot spring, explored the streets around the station, and finished the day with a visit to Chichibu Shrine.
If you’re looking for a peaceful day trip from Tokyo that combines mountains, traditional Japanese culture, local food, and hot springs, Chichibu is definitely worth visiting.

東京から日帰りで行ける、埼玉県・秩父へ 🇯🇵
今回は池袋から特急Laviewに乗って、自然・歴史・グルメ・温泉を楽しむ秩父日帰り旅に行ってきました。
旅のメインは、標高約1,100mの山中にある三峯神社。
多くの神社で見られる狛犬ではなく、「狼」が神様の使いとして祀られていることで知られる、独特な雰囲気の神社です。
三峯神社を参拝した後は、秩父名物のわらじカツ丼を味わい、西武秩父駅近くの温泉でひと休み。
最後は街を歩きながら秩父神社を訪れました。
山の自然、日本の神社、ローカルグルメ、温泉。
東京から少し足を伸ばすだけで、都会とはまったく違った日本を楽しめる秩父。
東京旅行の途中で楽しめる日帰り旅行先を探している方にもおすすめです。
