くつろぎの歴史旅「あをによし」サロン席で行く奈良いにしえの旅🛤️|京都ー奈良

This time we will take a ride on that train that is very popular among foreigners in Kyoto. Kintetsu’s proud sightseeing express “Awonyoshi”. We also had a lot of fun playing with Nara’s famous deer. Don’t forget to see the historical buildings and say hello to the Great Buddha.

Of course, I thoroughly enjoy Nara’s gourmet food. The content introduces many of the charms of Nara. Please watch till the end. Hello everyone. This time we will start from Kyoto Station. This is the north side of Kyoto Station. You can feel the charm of Kyoto on a large monitor.

It is an ancient capital that represents Japan. The famous grand staircase of the Kyoto Station building. It is 171 steps. Once you get halfway up, you can see Kyoto Tower beautifully to the northeast. Now, head to the Kintetsu ticket gate, so proceed through the station premises.

The Kintetsu ticket gate is on the south side of Kyoto Station. A regular ride to Nara Station costs 760 yen. We will ride this train this time. I’m looking forward to it. “Awoyoshi” goods found! Of course I bought it. It keeps increasing. LOL

I have some time, so I’ll take a break at the cafe inside the ticket gate. Speaking of Kyoto, it’s matcha! The first train departing from Kyoto is “Awonyoshi” at 11:00. “Awoyoshi” has arrived. This is so bitter! “Awonyoshi” is a sightseeing express train that connects Osaka, Nara, and Kyoto.

This is a train where you can feel the history and culture of 1300 years ago. This train has the theme of “a relaxing historical journey.” Sorry to bother you then. As soon as you get on the second car, you will see a sales counter. I’ll go buy it later.

First, move to your seat. Cars 1, 3, and 4 have twin seats. This is recommended if two people are sitting together. This is a library. It seems that you can freely browse books related to the railway line. The twin seats are firm and seem comfortable.

It’s a toilet. It also comes with a baby key so you don’t have to worry about it. A toilet with a washing machine is standard in Japan. There is also a men’s restroom. It’s clean and stylish. I wonder if this hand wash basin also has a Japanese image?

The towels wrapped in train wrapping are cute. Now let’s go to our seats. This time I was traveling with 3 people, so I reserved a salon seat. It’s a fairly large and private space. The seats have a luxurious feel and are soft and comfortable.

Equipped with electrical outlets. Being able to charge it is helpful. The windows are quite large so you can enjoy the view. This is the menu table at the sales counter. Since it is used by many foreigners, there is also an English version. It looks like a bar counter and is stylish.

Mainly snacks and drinks were sold. “Awoyoshi” craft beer. Being able to drink alcohol from noon is one of the best parts of traveling. Let’s have it then. Vanilla gelato is also carefully packaged. Since it’s gelato, it’s good that it’s hard enough to eat right away! The most popular purple sweet potato Mont Blanc.

This is a train where you can truly enjoy a relaxing space. Everything was delicious! Thank you for the meal. I also received a commemorative ride pass. The ride takes about 30 minutes, so if you want to buy some snacks, we recommend getting there early.

There are quite a few lines at the sales counter, so be careful. Well, we’ll be there in no time. I wish I had ridden a little longer. LOL “Awoyoshi” Thank you for the wonderful relaxing space. Approximately 30 minutes’ journey on “Awoyoshi”. Welcome to Nara! ! The local character Sentokun will welcome you.

Head towards Nara Park from Exit 2. When I got to the ground level, there was a shopping street. Let’s go later. The streetscape was gradually changing, and some people were wearing kimono. The atmosphere has also changed. There was a large building on the way to Nara Park.

This is the main hall of Kofukuji Temple. The five-storied pagoda of Kofukuji Temple is the symbol of Nara and is the second tallest building in Japan. Be careful of wild deer when you go to Nara! I arrived at the entrance of Nara Park. It was about a 15 minute walk from the station.

I found a deer right away! It seems like they are used to humans. cute. If you do it normally, you won’t be attacked. The first time you see it, you may be surprised because there are deer everywhere. I see more deer here than people. Let’s feed the deer.

Deer crackers. You can feed this to deer. A deer immediately appeared. Let’s feed it. I guess I was hungry so I was bitten a little. If you have bait , a lot of deer will come to you. If this happens, things will get out of control. It’s better

For you to feed them quickly. It was gone in no time. I feel tired all at once, so I want to ride a rickshaw. I walked to the center of Nara Park. There were also many deer here. It’s so relaxing. lol These two deer are so cute that they are my favorites.

I discovered an interesting store. A large tree that penetrates the ceiling of the store. LOL There are a lot of deer basking in the sun. All the deer near Todaiji Temple look sleepy. A magnificent gate came into view. “Daikegon-ji Temple” is another name for Todai-ji Temple. Amazing! ! You can feel the history.

Inside the gate, statues of Kongo Rikishi welcome you from both sides. Ugata statue on the right, Agata statue on the left. Nara’s most famous Great Buddha statue will soon appear. The world-class Japanese architecture is amazing. This is the entrance to the Great Buddha Hall. There is a charge from here.

Buy tickets. 600 yen per piece. I could see Todaiji Temple where the Great Buddha is located. Enter with the ticket you purchased earlier. There is also an audio guide available for a fee. Japanese, English, Chinese. There was an incense burner, so burn incense to purify yourself.

It’s a lot of smoke, but it’s not a bad smell. In front of Todaiji Temple. It’s quite large, so you won’t be able to fit it in unless you pull it out. It is amazing that it has been rebuilt and repaired many times and still retains its shape.

When you look at it from directly below, you will be surprised at its size. Great Buddha. We finally met. It seems to have been produced in 752. It has a history. Next to the Great Buddha is Kokuzo Bodhisattva, who is said to give wisdom and good fortune. Light a candle.

It seems to be popular with foreign tourists as well. “Kohmokuten” A guardian deity that protects the west. Are you angry? ? A model of Todaiji Temple. Modern technology allows us to create both large and small objects. It has been faithfully reproduced down to the smallest detail. Hello to the Great Buddha inside.

It looks like something is written on the tiles. I wonder what? Tamonten: A guardian deity that protects the north. Pass through the pillar. If you can get through it, you will be in good health. It may be possible for children to pass, but it may be difficult for adults.

Let’s tell your fortune with an omikuji. It was number 48. You excited. It was Kokichi. It means that you should do your best from now on. There were many types of amulets. There are also amulets specifically for bicycles and motorbikes. What is this? When I came to Nara Prefecture, I realized that

There are far more foreigners than Japanese people. That’s why Japanese culture and history are attracting so much attention. When I was about to go home, I was lured by the smell of dango. The deer here seem to be bowing. Walk back to Nara Station.

We will have lunch at a shopping street near Nara Station. I’m hungry,,. Steak-heavy seems to be popular, so I’ll go for that. For now, let’s have a toast with beer. After all, beer is the best. Let’s have it then. Special steak heavy. beautiful. I also tried topping it with eggs.

The yolk is shining. This is grilled meat. The colors are bright. The fun of traveling is eating good food. Can you convey the beauty of the meat? The oil isn’t heavy either, so it moves forward. It was delicious and I was hooked. Stay rational with miso soup.

Adding eggs will give it a different flavor. Add wasabi to enjoy the change in taste. Wasabi + meat + egg = the best! ! ! This is very delicious with the flavor of the meat and the texture of the pickled radish! I finished it perfectly till the end. It was delicious.

Thank you for the meal. Next up is Nakatanido, a famous shop that has been featured on TV, and their mugwort mochi seems to be exquisite. It’s glass-enclosed, so you can see the production process. It’s not only popular for its taste, but also for its performance.

There is no set time for mochi pounding, so you are lucky if you can see it. This time I was lucky enough to be able to capture it on video. This is where the specialty comes from! ! thank you for your hard work. I was able to buy freshly made mugwort mochi.

Everything is so fluffy now. Please try it. Thank you for the meal. I enjoyed Nara to the fullest, so it’s time to go back. Thank you for watching until the end.
