Wakura Onsen, Ishikawa (石川県和倉温泉) Kagaya Bettei Matsunomidori (加賀屋別邸 松乃碧) Special Room (特別室) tour

We are in the Noto peninsula in Ishikawa prefecture in Japan and um it’s onen and crab country this is a luxury called kagaya this room is what they call to or a special Room Room 43 Tok Midori and uh kagay msomi is a Annex as they call it of the bigger original um

Dean called kagaya which is you know a huge building with hundreds of rooms good for families and and and far more affordable and so this is uh they created this 8 years ago as an Annex to uh kagaya actually the kagaya group actually has um several other Deans in the immediate

Vicinity I forgot the name of it but anyways uh they dominate the landscape of uh wakura onen which is a a town in Ishikawa prefecture about an hour north of Kazaa and so this is uh again one of the special rooms you walk in this is the T room

Chashu and then over here here is the main living room you notice that this is um kind of Hotel style Dilan in a sense that you have carpet um it’s not tatami or wooden floors and much more western style Furnishings which is good for say older people with weak knees or foreigners who

Prefer uh more kind of familiar Furnishings um so you have the TV and then over here is the bedroom so it is a bed rather than a futon um your your mileage may vary depending on the room that you choose and uh some Artful touches here

One nice touch of this room this is kind of the storage area or closet but you have um you know dual sink a little kind of cheapish plastic shower stall and then you have a toilet this is the a secondary one so it’s kind of convenient if you have

Uh you know a large family staying together so anyways uh coming swinging back around you have a nice view of I don’t know if it’s we would call this the the Sea of Japan but it is on the technically in the western area of Japan

But um it’s on the tip of a peninsula um and this is an island uh up ahead and the Sea of Japan is actually across the peninsula which is on um it’s on the tip of a small part of a peninsula that juts out but not all the way to the end which

Is still rather um a good distance away a couple hours actually so it’s it’s a little bit of an inlet um you know fronted by an island up front um and then there’s a you know a large Bay with a Pacific Ocean and and and so anyways it’s it’s it’s

A it’s a small isolated Place actually you can take a 1-h hour train ride to um from Kaza station to get here um it’s not much of an onsens town in the sense that the kagaya group because they have four or five massive properties and then they have this

Smaller kagay midi um there’s so much to do indoors and people staying at the midi here have access to all the facilities and events that take place in the other uh bans so here’s the onen bath uh I I learned that not all rooms have this B um have Onan in the

Room which is Unbecoming of a top luxury Deon and in fact it’s not continually just free flowing so what what happens is I guess you you push this button to fill it up um so maybe it’s to preserve the uh the amount of hot springs that

They have to kind of flow into the room uh but it actually happen I just pushed it about 5 minutes ago so uh you know it does fill up pretty fast anyway so this is a kagaya bet matsi a luxury Dean it’s particularly uh noteworthy um area for

During crab season the red snow crab which they call zuani here in Isaak prefecture um it’s pretty amazing and uh it’s definitely worth checking out just for that so one one option uh when you want to have stay in a nice place and have good crab in onen um when you

You know if you’re near kanazawa this is this is one of them along with kaga onen and uh you know a couple others in the area anyways special room at in N which of which wakura onen is part of it in Japan hope you enjoyed
