Kirishima, Kagoshima (鹿児島県霧島市) – Myoken Ishiharaso (妙見石原荘) Hanezu (朱華 – はねず) suite room tour
All right uh we are still in the main building of mien isaro the newer Wing is um called ishura however yes this the main building was built before ishura but now the rooms are newer or many of them are including hanzu um which is a 80 square meter room um that was
Newly uh pretty much rebuilt um in June of 2023 which is half a year ago you can see was no got join across the way so this is um brand new um it’s not as uh jaw-droppingly uh spaciously amazing as nudi Murasaki which is the best room which
Uh the M uh and her mother is staying in this time um but this is still pretty uh impressive if you like the Japanese modern uh design it’s also uh less expensive then Rudy Murasaki this is a spacious closet um you over here you have the Samu
Outfit kind of a casual wear in deons and then I think over here is uh slippers and this is the yucata robe you you can wear throughout your stay in this property and then uh this is there’s coffee tea a mini bar also complimentary just like it is in Dy Murasaki including beer
And then so let’s walk into the main areas so this is a Japanese style tatami room very very uh Chic minimalistic but tasteful at the same time and uh you might be thinking where is the TV before we get to that you can see there’s the uh the
Scroll um by the way there’s a L-shaped balcony um but anyway so the TV this is really stylish it folds out and then you push it in like that you do the same over here gosh I want want this for my house and then there is your
TV all right so this is the uh Japanese room you can close it of course with a sliding door all right um this is the bedroom uh desk TV if you like modern Japanese Z you’ll love this room um an interesting note you can see here kind of like a wind swept sand
Looking wall so this was designed by a famous Artisan I forgot his name in Japan and uh ishihara so hired him to uh create this uh wall for four of the rooms that they recently renovated in the main building um hanzu being one of them so uh yeah
It’s it’s very precious um handmade high quality and I’m sure it it cost a pretty penny for them to commission him to do that um this is I believe yep the bathroom it’s a of course the latest technology because it’s a new room all right and in Japanese fashion bathrooms have their own
Slippers which actually makes sense especially if you’re a man um yep super new all right so let’s let’s go and check out the main event by the way this is uh really cool this is a hamam a a Mist Spa that you can activate by pushing a button here and then you’ll
Have this steam Mist that comes out and uh it’s um onand steam mist and uh it’s supposedly awesome and uh I’m definitely going to try it it’s a very popular feature of uh of this room I don’t I I think there’s a few others that have the similar um
Feature all right so this is the onen and the interesting thing about this onen I don’t know if you can uh notice from the video you see these bubbles up there I guess the reflections are making hard to see so this onen is extremely uh carbonated um and
Uh and it’s just natural that way and and and um the other thing you’ll notice is there’s kind of this oily looking kind of film uh filmy um thing on the surface it looks like it’s kind of oily um but it’s actually not it’s the actual minerals
That are floating to the top because there’s just a lot of iron and minerals in the natural hot springs in the mien hen area of uh kagoshima and so some Deans you know they have a formula to to kind of prepare it in a way that they
Feel is best for their guests isih so here they leave it as is and supposedly it’s uh pretty awesome the one demerit of this room especially relative to the rooms in ishura or some of them and and definitely Murasaki is um it doesn’t face the river and and actually there’s the road
Kind of over there um it’s not a privacy issue it’s just that you know you have the sound and you know you can see trees and you know Hill but you can see some power lines over there as well so um it’s really really nice um but with Rudy
Murasaki you are going to pay for the um extra space as well as the uh the iconic view from uh of the river so anyways um I guess that’s pretty much it oh oh so this room is called hanzu and um hanu so every room at mil
Shihad um the rooms are there no room number they’re just named after um colors and so hanu means salmon is is another word the closest approximation is salmon pink um the room I showed you earlier the top room at this Dean Rudy Murasaki is blueish purple I guess blue purple
Um and so uh anyways interesting story this room before it was uh redone um there was was a couple that forever tried to conceive a child and um not that they came here to you know with with hopes of that actually happening just by staying here but uh maybe as a coincidence they
Stayed here and then two months later boom you know there was good news uh with a kid on the way so um they trace it back to maybe it you know kind of the I don’t know if it’s the composition of the the OWN but maybe it was just kind of relaxing less
Stress um you know who knows what it is but they themselves actually credit uh part of the um Immaculate Conception uh to their stay at mien ishar and specifically this room and so they come back frequently and they will not stay in any other room that’s an absolutely uh delightful story and um
You know I I your mileage may vary if you stay here but uh uh this is uh you know a room that was renovated June of 2023 at mien isharo in um outside of kagoshima city and kagoshima pricture Japan hope you enjoyed
