“Look who’s learning photography! 📸 (swipe to see her reaction😍) I hope everyone is doing well and staying home (if possible) during this crazy time! I decided to use my extra time at home to introduce Lolo to photography! 🙌🏻 She is 3.5 years old so of course she can’t technically work the camera but she is old enough to point and click! She used my Canon #EOSM50 in AUTO. The EOS M50 is very compact and light weight so she can easily handle it. This was honestly one of the most fun shoots I’ve done lately! Watching her excitement as she pressed the shutter and then saw her image pop up on the LCD screen was precious! She was SO proud of herself!
TIP#1 – Toddlers like to feel like they are in control so I let her set up her own shoot! She chose the outfits, the high chair prop, and the bubbles! I just directed her to the pretty light✨ TIP #2 – Do not put your camera in a compromising position … Notice I let her do this on a bed so if she dropped the camera it was okay! TIP #3 – Have FUN! Make memories together, foster creativity, build confidence in your little one by letting them take the reins!” – @taraherron_photography
