BMW R1100Sで巡る「お伊勢参り」シリーズ Part.2。

前回、高見峠を越えて無事に伊勢へ到着し、今回はいよいよ「伊勢の神宮」をお参りしていきます。

まずは豊受大御神をお祀りする外宮へ。

御正宮や多賀宮、忌火屋殿などを巡りながら、式年遷宮や日別朝夕大御饌祭、和魂と荒魂など、神宮に受け継がれている文化についても触れていきます。

続いて内宮へ移動し、その前におかげ横丁で赤福氷をいただいて一休み。

宇治橋を渡り、五十鈴川で身を清めた後は、天照大御神をお祀りする御正宮、荒祭宮、風日祈宮などをゆっくり巡りました。

その後は外宮へ戻って「せんぐう館」を見学し、最後は天照大御神を伊勢へ導いた倭姫命をお祀りする「倭姫宮」へ。

伊勢の神宮の歴史や文化に触れながら、じっくりお参りした一日です。

次回はいよいよバイクに戻り、伊勢志摩スカイラインへ。
お伊勢参りから、再びツーリングパートへと続きます。

This is Part 2 of my Ise pilgrimage series with the BMW R1100S.

After crossing Takami Pass and arriving in Ise in Part 1, it is finally time to explore Ise Jingu.

I begin at Geku, the Outer Shrine dedicated to Toyouke Omikami, visiting its sacred sites while learning more about traditions such as the Shikinen Sengu rebuilding ceremony and the daily food offerings to the deities.

I then ride to Naiku, the Inner Shrine.

Before entering, I stop at Okage Yokocho for Akafuku shaved ice, then cross Uji Bridge and visit the Isuzu River, the main sanctuary dedicated to Amaterasu Omikami, and several of the surrounding shrines.

Afterwards, I return to Geku to visit the Sengu Museum before heading to Yamatohime-no-miya, dedicated to Princess Yamatohime, who is closely connected to the establishment of Ise Jingu.

This episode focuses on slowly exploring the history, traditions, and atmosphere of Ise Jingu.

In the next episode, I finally get back on the motorcycle and head toward the Ise-Shima Skyline.
