Back Home in Japan! 🇯🇵 | What I Eat, Buy & Do in 8 Days
Come home to Japan with me for 8 days of local food, shopping, sightseeing and exploring some of my favorite places around Tokyo, Kawasaki, Yokohama and Narita! 🇯🇵
I was born and raised in Japan, so my trips back are always a mix of revisiting familiar places, finding new favorites and occasionally playing tourist in my own home.
In this Japan vlog, we’re exploring my hometown of Kawasaki, shopping around LaZona Kawasaki, wandering Yutenji and Jiyugaoka, visiting my mom’s old high school, clearing SO many plates at my favorite conveyor belt sushi, Sushiro, trying seasonal Japanese snacks and Mister Donut, getting matcha parfaits at the famous Saryo in Kagurazaka, visiting the Pokémon Center and eating as much Japanese food as possible before I leave.
We also take a Hato Bus day trip out toward Narita to explore historic Japan, including Hiyodori-zaka’s bamboo-lined path and samurai residences, Naritasan Shinshoji Temple, traditional streets and shops, an old sake brewery, and the historic Sawara area along the Onogawa River.
Basically…. 8 days of eating, shopping, wandering around and enjoying Japan the way I usually do when I come home. ♡

Just came across your channel a few days ago. Not gonna lie, somehow it popped up on my feed and being that you’re attractive I thought well why not let’s watch.watched a few of your videos here and there. what a lifestyle you have. The surf, the traveling, obviously to the Cook Islands, man! It is beautiful. And now a video in Japan and what appears to be where you’re from. I’ve recently had a few friends, not close friends, but friends who have traveled there in the last few years they keep telling me I should go. Would you ever move back? And without a long response, any one or two things that separates itself vs US?
Yessssssss ❤
Great to see you again with your latest video 👋🏼
Hope you had lots of fun in this very different world.

Wow! I would love to go to Japan. I’ll just have to travel vicariously through your video, at this stage. Really well filmed and edited.
You are so fine 😊. I miss Japan 😢
Kia orana Jess. Love this video a lot, aww your mom is the cutest! This video was so well edited, and has increased my desire to visit Japan a hundred fold. I can't wait to visit someday soon. I must try those sardines when I do visit, as I love sardines too. I was in Rarotonga back in August for 10 days and was looking out for you, but you might've already left the Cooks by that time. I will be back in Raro in March for 4 weeks. You take care of yourself and each other. I look forward to the next video.

Hello, I'd like to take that tour but I cannot find it in the English Hato tours site 🙁
this makes me miss traveling to Japan. Think i’m gunna book a ticket very soon 😆
hi
Japan looks amazing. Can I get you for a tour guide? I wish I could get out as you do.
First video of yours I've seen. Made me miss Japan.
Kawasaki Lazona and Narita San are two of my favorite places. BTW there's a nice shrine in Tsurumi, however, Meiji Jingu is by far the best.
おかえりなさい!!
miyukichan wa kawaii desu ne.
I was three times and seven months of my life in Japan. From Sapporo to Okinawa. I love and miss Japan very much! I can't wait to go back to Japan! ❤❤❤
Like you, I was born and raised in Japan, with my mom being Japanese. My time was mostly on military bases. Eight days is entirely too short of a trip, but it looks like you visit often. I visited my mother in Japan last year after several years of absence. Thanks for sharing your video as you share things I miss as well. All that sushi….man, sushi in in the states does not look good compared to Japan's.
Nice vlog. I wanna be a hater but I actually really like(d) it. Your video encompasses like the perfect Japan trip to me. I've been to many of the places you went to but not all of them and you showed some places that I've wanted to go to. I lived in Yokohama Japan 23 years ago — with a girlfriend that I almost got married to — for about 8 months. And I've visited a bunch since then. I also did a homestay in Japan when I was 12. I'm 48 now. I studied Japanese so I can somewhat speak it. I've been there about 7 times now. Japan is so big, and of course there are many more places to visit /explore. It actually gets kind of overwhelming and makes me want to give up.
Whoa she's a cute mix breed! 😘
Thanks for sharing your Japan travels…I'm missing Japan now…the food, the sights, and the vibe.
Hey Jessica!!! How cool and fun. I’m so happy you were able to upload this amazing episode. It makes me happy that you get to travel, explore, and live your best life. Keep up the dream! 🤙🏽❤️🇯🇵
I want some of your artwork!
Hi Jessica! I came across your video this morning of the Cook Islands and just watched this one. I LOVE the background music you play in your videos along with the content 😊. Subscribed and will be watching more. You are an EXTREMELY gorgeous and talented woman. Keep up the great content. Love your lifestyle. 😊
Do you edit these yourself?…
The editing is so good and the music/audio is so good. (The levels and everything)
I'm guessing you have help making these
