【お伊勢参り Part.1】日本神話を辿って伊勢の神宮へ｜予備知識編【BMW R1100S】#bmw #r1100s

今回から何本かに分けてお届けする「お伊勢参り」シリーズ。

愛車のBMW R1100Sに乗って、三重県の伊勢・志摩方面へソロツーリングに行って来ました。

Part1では南大阪を早朝に出発し、奈良県を抜けて高見峠を越え、最初の目的地となる「伊勢の神宮・外宮」へ向かいます。

今回はただ神宮を訪れるだけではなく、せっかくのお伊勢参りなので、日本神話や神宮の成り立ちについて少し予習しながら旅をしてみることにしました。

道中では、天照大御神がなぜ伊勢に祀られるようになったのか、倭姫命の旅、外宮と内宮の違い、現在まで受け継がれている神宮の祭事など、自分なりに調べた内容をお話しています。

早朝の奈良から高見峠を越え、少しずつ伊勢へ近づいていく道のり。

「日本のはじまり」を訪ねるお伊勢参り、その旅の始まりを一緒に走っているような気分で、のんびりご覧いただければ幸いです。

This is Part 1 of my new Ise pilgrimage series.

I took my BMW R1100S on a solo journey toward Ise and Shima in Mie Prefecture.

In this first episode, I leave southern Osaka early in the morning, ride through Nara, cross Takami Pass, and head toward Geku, the Outer Shrine of Ise Jingu.

Rather than simply visiting the shrine as a tourist, I decided to learn a little more about Japanese mythology and the history of Ise Jingu along the way.

During the ride, I talk about why Amaterasu came to be enshrined in Ise, the journey of Princess Yamatohime, the differences between the Inner and Outer Shrines, and some of the traditions that continue at Ise Jingu today.

From the early-morning roads of Nara to Takami Pass and onward toward Ise, this is the beginning of a journey exploring the roots of Japanese mythology and culture.

I hope you can enjoy the feeling of riding along with me on this pilgrimage to Ise.
