【タダには理由がある３】ステップトラベルの無料招待、日帰りバス旅行で忍野八海、富士山デッキ・天空階段に行ってみた
ステップトラベルの無料招待の通知が届いたので、日帰りバスの旅に参加してきた。
タダの旅3回目、「無料」には当然理由があって、今回も問屋さんでお買い物タイムで拘束されました。
昨年２月と同様、高木ミンクさんでムートンシーツに寝てみてください、１５分は最低でも。
ということで、販売員さんと無駄話をして、いつの間にか高い買い物しているパターンです。
毎度のことなので、今回もスルーしてしまいましたが、数名お買い上げされたようで、８０分の予定が大幅に超過して１２０分滞在になりました。
その後、東名高速も渋滞していたため、御殿場のお土産屋さんには寄ることはできず、あっという間にお昼ご飯でした。
昼食は、伊豆フルーツパークで、鶏釜飯だったんですが、通常の釜めしコースではないようで、特注なんでしょうか、おかずがうどん、ちびきゅう、明太イワシだけというさみしさでした。
午後は、観光ですが、忍野八海、滞在時間は４５分です。
バスを降りて、忍野八海まで歩き、見学して帰ってくるだけで、時間は無くなりますので、ゆっくり食べ歩いたり、お土産を買うことはかないません。
次は、河口湖へ向かい、川口湖畔のハーブ庭園、旅日記に行きます。
ここでは、庭園の担当者の説明を聞きつつ、最後は売店でハーブ化粧品をお買い上げください、というパターンです、確か山梨のハーブ庭園でも同じ経験しました。
ここにある、ふじさんデッキと天空階段、楽しみにしていましたが、あいにくの天気で富士山は影も形も見えず、おまけに帰り際にゲリラにあってしまいました。

I received a notification about a free invitation from Step Travel, so I joined a one-day bus trip.
This was my third “free trip,” and naturally, there was a reason for it being free: once again, I was held captive for a shopping session at a wholesaler.
Just like last February, please try sleeping on a sheepskin sheet at Takagi Mink—for at least 15 minutes.
So, it’s one of those situations where you end up making an expensive purchase before you realize it, just from chatting idly with the salesperson.
As is often the case, I let it slide this time too; however, it seems a few people made purchases, so the visit—originally scheduled for 80 minutes—ended up running well over, lasting a full 120 minutes.
After that, since there was traffic congestion on the Tomei Expressway, we couldn’t stop at the souvenir shop in Gotemba, and before we knew it, it was time for lunch.
For lunch at Izu Fruit Park, we had chicken *kamameshi* (kettle-cooked rice); however, it didn’t seem to be the standard set meal—perhaps it was a special order—as the side dishes were disappointingly meager, consisting only of udon noodles, small cucumbers, and sardines with spicy cod roe.
In the afternoon, we will go sightseeing at Oshino Hakkai, with a scheduled stay of 45 minutes.
Simply getting off the bus, walking to Oshino Hakkai, looking around, and returning takes up all the time, so there is no opportunity to leisurely stroll while eating or to buy souvenirs.
Next, we will head to Lake Kawaguchi and visit the herb garden on the lakeshore, Tabi Nikki.
The routine here involves listening to an explanation from the garden staff and then, at the end, purchasing herbal cosmetics at the shop; I recall having the exact same experience at a herb garden in Yamanashi.
I had been looking forward to the Mt. Fuji Deck and the Sky Staircase here, but the weather didn’t cooperate—Mt. Fuji was completely invisible—and to make matters worse, I got caught in a sudden downpour just as I was leaving.

스텝 트래블의 무료 초대 안내를 받고 당일치기 버스 여행에 다녀왔다.
공짜 여행’ 세 번째 이야기입니다. ‘무료’인 데는 당연히 이유가 있는 법이라, 이번에도 도매상에서의 쇼핑 시간 때문에 발이 묶여야 했습니다.
작년 2월과 마찬가지로, 타카기 밍크(Takagi Mink)에서 무톤 시트(양털 시트)에 한번 누워 보세요. 적어도 15분 동안은요.
그러니까, 판매원과 이런저런 이야기를 나누다가 어느새 비싼 물건을 사게 되는 그런 패턴이죠.
늘 있는 일이라 이번에도 그냥 지나쳤습니다만, 몇 분이 구매를 하셨는지 당초 80분 예정이었던 체류 시간이 120분으로 크게 늘어났습니다.
그 후 도메이 고속도로도 정체되어 있어 고텐바의 기념품 가게에는 들르지 못했고, 어느새 점심시간이 되었습니다.
점심은 이즈 후루츠 파크에서 닭고기 솥밥을 먹었는데, 일반적인 솥밥 코스가 아니었던 탓인지 아니면 특별 주문이었는지 반찬이 우동, 작은 오이 절임, 명란 정어리뿐이라 다소 빈약한 느낌이었습니다.
오후에는 관광 일정이 있는데, 오시노핫카이에서의 체류 시간은 45분입니다.
버스에서 내려 오시노핫카이까지 걸어가서 구경하고 돌아오는 것만으로도 시간이 다 지나가 버리기 때문에, 여유롭게 길거리 음식을 즐기거나 기념품을 사는 것은 어렵습니다.
다음으로는 가와구치코로 향해, 호숫가에 있는 허브 정원 ‘타비닛키(旅日記)’를 방문합니다.
여기서는 정원 담당자의 설명을 듣고 마지막에 매점에서 허브 화장품을 구매하게 되는 식인데, 야마나시의 허브 정원에서도 비슷한 경험을 했던 기억이 납니다.
이곳의 ‘후지산 데크’와 ‘천공 계단’을 기대하고 있었는데, 날씨가 좋지 않아 후지산은 그림자조차 볼 수 없었고, 게다가 돌아가는 길에는 갑작스러운 폭우까지 만났습니다.
