Not cheap but turned out great.
Very nice, this is how it should be done, old building but renovated nicely, real good. Small improvements for me would be to lose the Ikea furniture over time and also dude you need at minimum a soundbar with subwoofer to that TV. Or go all in with front Hifi speakers + center speaker. Congrats!

How rich are those neighbours to be able to build a standalone house on a parcel of land like that in Prime Bangkok. You could build a whole condo block on there. Place looks mint btw.

I like ikea pax, but only with doors, the dust will be annoying, for the rest ikea furniture looks often student level cheap😅

Kids, great first home, your “mistakes” are not bad, and I could imagine the team not telling you about the toilet and sink.
Here’s one design idea, the sliding glass panel that sits near the couch, that is unusable, would be to get a cool panel to insert or lay the glass with mirror or other designed film so that you can’t see through it. I think you will get what I am talking about and your wheels would spin.
Any wife that would deal with the renovation while you are out on the road deserves a metal…. But instead redo her make up settee in closet … later.
What is the buying process there? All cash or finance?
