In this video, I travel to Inner Mongolia to experience Naadam, one of the most important traditional festivals of the Mongolian people.
Naadam is a celebration of Mongolian culture and nomadic heritage, bringing communities together through three traditional competitions: Mongolian wrestling, archery, and horse racing.
I’ll take you into the heart of the festival to see how these ancient traditions are still celebrated today, meet local people, and experience a side of Inner Mongolia that you rarely see as a tourist.

Hello, Im from Argentina. This year I have been to China for the first time. In March I visited Xilinhot, it was one of the best experiences of the trip.
There’s more ethnic Mongolians in China than there are in Mongolia. And Mongolia is now reintroducing their native written language after over a century of having Russian Cyrillic forced upon them when the Russian military quietly invaded Mongolia in the early 1900s and attempted to Russify the Mongolians.
