Traditional Japanese Taiko Dance Born From War Times 加治木太鼓踊り
Origin of the dance: Shimazu Yoshihiro had his retainers learn the Nenbutsu dance as a tribute and celebration of his return from the Bunroku-Keicho War. The dance was believed to cure epidemics and bring a good harvest.
