Tokyo Night View|Helicopter Aerial Twilight Skyline Japan

December 2025.
Filmed from a helicopter just before sunset, this video captures Tokyo’s iconic skyline during the magical transition from twilight to night in 8K60p HDR.

From Tokyo Tower and Shinjuku skyscrapers to Shibuya, Skytree and the silhouette of Mt. Fuji, the city lights gradually illuminate the capital of Japan.

This year’s aerial shoot was challenged by strong winds.
However, the sky conditions were exceptionally clear — the kind of atmosphere that appears only a few times a year.
I chose to prioritize transparency of the sky and the quality of light over absolute stabilization.

Best experienced on an HDR-compatible display.
