The Japan Nobody Films | Kushiro Marsh 釧路湿原 Silent Walking Tour
Silent Walking Tour in Kushiro Marsh. Just the summer wind through the reeds of Japan’s largest wetland.
Walk slowly along the wooden boardwalk at Onnenai (温根内木道) deep in Kushiro Marsh 釧路湿原, Hokkaido. This is a silent walking tour in high summer: cicadas, bog waters, and that endless horizon where the marsh holds its breath. We wander the full loop, pausing where the light pauses, until the day softens.
We end where a long day in Kushiro should end — with a plate of spakatsu (スパカツ), Kushiro’s soul food, eaten quietly after hours of walking.

How much planning do you make ahead of each trip? Do you have a destination in mind and just see what you encounter along the way?
Excellent !
I can so relate to these kind of videos.
Now, August 25, the summer holidays are over, people back to work, kids back to school, I go to the dunes and forest to walk around with my camera (small Leica) enjoying the peaceful sounds of wind, birds (seagulls in my case neer the beach)
Whilst walking, sniffing the smell of nature, feeling the wind, being all alone, brings me joy and zen.
After walking the dunes I go to the beach, walk the shore line to the next exit, have a coffee and some apple pie on a small beach club whith probably another 10 people who are having spare time.
Relax a bit, taking pictures of things around me.
Then I head back to the dunes, cross some sand dunes and back into the forest where you hardly meet people.
And in the end of the walk I enter a small village, taking some pictures again, talking to some friendly people who are gardening since I love that too.
Those days are worth a million.
Keep up the good work man !!
Thanks for sharing
I know that 1st bite was hot bro.
Bet it smells amazing. 😊
That looks like such a nice place to just take a stroll through and enjoy nature. Its surprising that more people were not there, kind of peaceful that way.
As usual, it was peaceful, relaxing, …. Thank you!
