🌿A slow summer journey through Nagano’s Kiso Valley.
We stay overnight in Narai-juku and enjoy the quiet old town at night. Then we take the local train through the Kiso Valley to Tsumago-juku, and get a glimpse of the emerald-blue waters of Atera Valley.

We are going to Narai-Juku in November! Can’t wait! What time does the station staff office close? We plan to visit from Nagoya to Narai-juku so it’s going to be a long commute. I think 2.5-3hrs 😂 3:41 night view looks like being transported back in time. 7:32 are there more tourists in the late morning?
