This morning, we’re exploring the heart of Bodrum on another busy summer day, and by 11:00 AM, it already feels like everyone is here.
Our walk begins in one of the beautiful beachfront restaurants hidden inside Bodrum’s bazaar. With the Aegean Sea just steps away, colorful artwork covering the walls, and a relaxed coastal atmosphere, it’s a beautiful place to start our morning.
Leaving the restaurant behind, we step directly into the busy streets of Bodrum Bazaar. A cruise ship has arrived once again, bringing even more visitors into the city center. The narrow streets are filled with tourists walking, shopping, exploring local stores, and enjoying the energy of Bodrum at the height of summer.
From the bazaar, we make our way back toward the coast, passing beachfront restaurants and cafés before reaching the pier. Here, the crowded streets open up to beautiful views of the sea and Bodrum’s coastline.
But the biggest crowds are still ahead.
Our walk continues to Kumbahce Beach, the largest beach in central Bodrum. By late morning, the beach is absolutely packed with people swimming, sunbathing, and enjoying another hot summer day by the Aegean Sea.
After experiencing the crowds along the beach, we leave the coastline behind and finish our walk by climbing one of Bodrum’s steep hillside streets, looking back at the lively town below.
From a beautiful seaside restaurant and crowded bazaar to cruise ship tourists, busy cafés, stunning coastal views, and a packed beach, this walking tour captures Bodrum at one of its liveliest moments of the summer.
