    Mino’s “Udatsu Townscape” is a historic streetscape that has been preserved since the Edo period. Once a thriving merchant town, it is still home to beautiful traditional houses featuring “udatsu” — distinctive fire-prevention structures built above the roofs.

    As I walked through the quiet historic streets, the gentle sound of wind chimes could be heard here and there. The combination of the traditional townscape and the soft summer sounds of the wind chimes felt incredibly peaceful, as if time had slowed down for a moment. 😊

    I hope this walk brings you a little sense of peace and relaxation, too.

    私は53歳大阪に住んでいますが
    懐かしい屋敷がいっぱい残っていて
    素敵な町並みですね。

    まだ子供の頃は、場所によっては
    残っていましたが今は全くマンションに
    代わりました、のであの頃に
    帰った気持ちになりましたよ。

    ペット飼っているから、遠くへ
    行けないので、旅をした気持ちになり
    楽しませて戴きました。

    週末ゆっくり過ごして下さいね。
