Two weeks after investigating the intense border situation in Ceuta, I traveled to Morocco to document the other side of the fence. To truly understand why so many people risk everything to reach Europe, you have to see where the journey begins and how the border operates from the Moroccan side.

In this documentary, I travel through northern border hubs including Tetouan, Fnideq (bordering Ceuta), Nador, and the Beni Ensar border crossing near Melilla. I spent time talking with Moroccan locals to understand their daily reality, average wages, and perspectives on the ongoing border dynamics.

We also head up Mount Gourougou, a well-known vantage point and historic gathering spot where migrants wait for the right moment to make the crossing into Europe. From candid conversations with people who have attempted the crossing to an unfiltered look at life in these border regions, this is the complete picture of the EU-Morocco border conflict.

  1. In the south of Spain out youth unemployment is 30.9%, in Morocco it's 27.2,%
A pensioner in Spain often has to live on 480 euros. Try to find somewhere to rent anywhere for under 600!!
Many are as poor in Spain as in Morocco. We certainly can't afford to pay for them all and we certainly don't have any jobs for them!!!
And more importantly, we don't need hoards of young males with islamic values who think that Spain is occupied territory, living here in Spain!!
Maybe come to Arcos de la frontera where I live and check it out. I can show you around 👍

  2. 46:30 : “I know you!”
“In a good way or a bad way?”
    “Good and bad!”
proceeds to speak badly about immigrants

  3. not as secure as Poland's border. the model for the west.
shoot anyone trying to cross illegally.

  4. Tom, you did not elaborate on the Q&A ref why he crossed the border at Cueta with all the others. Did he get paid to do that? We all know that it was a trick to pressure Spain/Sanchez from narco Marco Rubio/Trump/Israel because they wanted to let him and the EU know whoś boss and what they can do to the EU. To steer 50K men in once time together to do the exodus, one must have some sort of power at the top to achieve that. The corrupt King of Morocco whoś a puppet of Nathanyahu had assissted. We are not stupid anymore but, it would have been nice to have heard his HONEST answer. Next time better Tom.

  5. The people at the border can enter Ceuta and Melilla with a special card. The others cannot. They need a visa. This is what a lot of people in Europe don't understand. There is no need to flee or whatever 😂

  6. The thing that guy in a car said it's eye opening. Other "forces" are in place…. Like the twin towers. But that guy was brutally honest.

  7. Hi Tom watch you all the time on YouTube but I’ve got to be honest this is one of the best ones. I’ve watched the hospitality from the people up in the mountains was amazing and you showing your gratitude really made me smile. Keep up the good work.

  9. I must say i don't see a lot of woman on the street not to be knitpicking but its just something i observe compared to asia for example from my sisters going trough thailand and vietnam. Keeping me up to date.

  10. 38:22 I’m wondering if Europe distribute wealth to the citizens?! The answer is NOoo 😂😂 this guy blame the rich people in Morocco why they are rich 😂😂 because they work hard and they don’t waist there time in social media as you 😂😂

  11. 42:43 A black T-shirt absorbs sunlight and converts it into heat much faster than a white shirt, making the fabric significantly hotter in direct sunlight. A white shirt reflects most of the incoming solar radiation, which helps keep the surface of the clothing cooler

Beste Videos Tom ❤😊
