My friend Ugo and I are attempting something completely insane: crossing Europe by kayak along the Danube — the continent’s second-longest river, stretching more than 2,800 km through 10 countries all the way to the Black Sea. From wild camping and brutal weather to unforgettable encounters with locals across Europe, this journey is going to push us far beyond our limits — physically and mentally.

This is not a polished expedition. It’s two friends throwing themselves into the unknown and figuring it out one paddle stroke at a time.

    Good for you guys 🙂 to do this at your age is such a great experience that many people will never ever try and it makes you aware of how comfortable our every day life is. It also reminds me of a tour in Sweden this year.. not that long but the same experience, fatigue, boredom, cold, rapids but most of all an absolute blast that you will never forget! Thx for the long video!

    SO cool!
    One thing you definitely missed is water filter. Like Katedyn be free or something. You could just scoop up the water from river and while kayaking and drink it straight away.

    lighting the red flare at the end was a horrible idea. it is the worldwide symbol of actual maritime emergency: sinking, drowning etc. a red flare is not a joke and shouldnt be used for anything else. use any other color
