Walking to a 400-Year-Old Town Through Japan’s Countryside | Mino, Gifu 4K

Join me for a peaceful walk through the Japanese countryside in Mino City, Gifu, Japan.

In late July, I walked from Mino-shi Station through quiet countryside roads and rice fields as the evening light slowly faded. At the end of the walk, I arrived at Mino’s historic townscape, known for its traditional Japanese houses and famous Udatsu streets.

Mino has a history of around 400 years, and its beautifully preserved streets offer a glimpse into the atmosphere of old Japan.

This is a relaxing 4K walking tour with natural ambient sounds and no narration. Take your time, enjoy the scenery, and feel as if you are walking through Japan with me.

  1. Which scenery in Mino did you like the most? 😊

Personally, I loved walking along the rice fields as the evening light began to fade.

I also filmed Mino in the morning, with the town bathed in the morning sunlight. I’ll be sharing that walk in a future video! 🌅

  2. I really enjoyed the atmosphere here. I’m also developing a walking channel in Japan, mainly exploring quiet local places around Chiba. Always happy to connect with another walking creator! 😊
