久しぶりに愛車のBMW R1100Sに乗って、平日休みの仲間たちと奈良方面へマスツーリングに行って来ました。
集合場所は、大阪府千早赤阪村にある「BASE CAFE WILD KIDS 85」。
シナモントーストで朝食を済ませた後、水越峠を越えて奈良県へ入り、明日香村の稲渕棚田やジャンボカカシを巡ります。
その後は山道を走って談山神社へ。
境内には色とりどりの風鈴が飾られており、時折吹き抜ける風と涼しげな音を楽しみながら、ゆっくりお参りさせていただきました。
最後は大神神社の大鳥居に立ち寄り、近くの「とろろめし山和」で三輪素麺をいただきます。
流し素麺は残念ながら待ち時間が長く断念しましたが、代わりに注文した天ぷらと素麺がとても美味しく、結果的には大正解でした。
真夏の奈良らしい暑さの中、棚田の緑や山間の風、風鈴の音に涼を求めて走ったツーリングです。

This time, I took my BMW R1100S on a group ride through Nara with friends who also had a weekday off.
We met at BASE CAFE WILD KIDS 85 in Chihayaakasaka, Osaka, and started the morning with cinnamon toast before crossing Mizukoshi Pass into Nara.
Our first stops were the Inabuchi Rice Terraces and the giant scarecrow in Asuka Village.
We then rode through the mountains to Tanzan Shrine, where colorful wind chimes decorated the grounds. The cool mountain breeze and the sound of the chimes created a refreshing atmosphere despite the intense summer heat.
Our final destination was the giant torii gate of Omiwa Shrine, followed by a meal of Miwa somen noodles at a nearby restaurant.
We originally planned to try flowing somen noodles, but the waiting time was over an hour. Instead, we enjoyed somen with a surprisingly large serving of tempura, which turned out to be an excellent choice.
This is a relaxed summer group ride through the green countryside of Nara, searching for a little relief from the heat.
