Later, in the late 18th century, planned fishing ports like Tobermory emerged, shaping the island’s coastal heritage into the picture-postcard setting seen today.

What's the story in Balamory wouldn't you like to know. That was playing in my head all the time, my kids grew up with it so those beautiful houses in Tobermory are very family. Going back to my childhood one of the Wombles was called Tobermory

Thank you for showing us the sights both of what we saw in Mull last July during our Glencoe trip plus those we missed (weather was similar to what you experienced but not as windy)
I had a lovely time in Duart Castle while David napped in the car and even got to meet the current Laird Sir Lachlan Maclean looking very dapper in his tartan trews! As it was around midday and the guide was on lunch, Sir Lachlan was filling in and chatted with me giving lots of interesting facts about the Castle and his ancestors. I felt quite privileged. Looking forward to Iona video as we also visited for the day despite the rain.

When did you visit Mull? My favourite place. We did see Sea Eagles, Golden Eagles and otters when we visited.
