真夏の日中は気温が35℃前後まで上がり、バイクで走るのも少し辛い季節。
今回は暑さがまだマシな深夜2時過ぎに、2007年式Buell XB12Ssで自宅を出発し、普段は渋滞の多い大阪市内をのんびりナイトツーリングしました。
国道309号線から大阪中央環状線、堺のフェニックス通りを抜け、まずは「資さんうどん 南津守店」で夜食。
その後は千本松大橋、道頓堀川、中央大通り、大阪城、船場センタービル、御堂筋、心斎橋、道頓堀、なんば、新世界・通天閣と、大阪を代表する街並みや名所を巡ります。
最後の目的地は、大阪市住吉区にある「辰巳温泉」。
昔ながらの銭湯らしい雰囲気を残しながらリノベーションされた温泉で、ナイトツーリングの汗を流し、夜明けまでのんびり過ごしました。
今回はBuell XB12Ssの排気音を楽しんでいただけるよう、ナレーションなし・BGM控えめで編集しています。
マフラー出口付近にマイクを取り付けて録音した、低回転の鼓動感や加速時のVツインサウンドとともに、真夜中の大阪を走る雰囲気をお楽しみください。
私のXB12Ssは2007年式で、初期型XB9Rのマフラーを装着しています。
Summer daytime temperatures in Osaka have been reaching around 35°C, making motorcycle rides rather uncomfortable.
This time, I left home just after 2:00 a.m. on my 2007 Buell XB12Ss and enjoyed a relaxed night ride through central Osaka while the usually crowded streets were almost empty.
After riding along Route 309, the Osaka Central Loop Line and Phoenix Street in Sakai, I stopped at Sukesan Udon Minamitsumori for a late-night meal.
I then visited Sembonmatsu Bridge, the Dotonbori River, Chuo Odori, Osaka Castle, Semba Center Building, Midosuji, Shinsaibashi, Dotonbori, Namba, Shinsekai and Tsutenkaku.
The final destination was Tatsumi Onsen, a renovated neighborhood bathhouse in Sumiyoshi, Osaka.
I washed off the sweat from the night ride and relaxed there until daybreak.
This video has no narration and only minimal background music, allowing you to enjoy the natural exhaust sound of the Buell XB12Ss.
The microphone was mounted near the muffler outlet to capture the low-rpm pulse and V-twin sound during acceleration.
My 2007 XB12Ss is fitted with an early-model XB9R muffler.
