Narusawa Ice Cave and Fugaku wind cave can be visited in less thank 1 1/2 by car from lake kawaguchi or by public bus. The entry price is very cheap. Narusawa has a good origin story and well priced gift shop.
The cave system is short and narrow in parts but worth the visit if in the area. We really enjoyed this visit. There is English translation signs and the staff are very friendly. the cave entrance is right at the car park. You need to have good mobility to visit this attraction. We Visited here in early January when it was very cold and slippery so dress accordingly.
