Starting from Ryogoku Station, the route leads to the Edo-Tokyo Museum, which has recently reopened after renovation. At the west approach, images of the Edo period are projected onto the sides of a structure modeled after a torii gate, creating a space where modern technology and history merge. The adjacent Ryogoku Kokugikan, known as the home of sumo wrestling, remained quiet with no events scheduled for the day.

After passing through the greenery of Kyu-Yasuda Garden, the walk continues to Yokoamicho Park, home to historical structures such as the Tokyo Metropolitan Memorial Hall and the Restoration Memorial Museum. Bamboo branches decorated with tanzaku strips for the Tanabata festival are set up in the park, reflecting the seasonal customs. Crossing Kuramae Bridge over the Sumida River leads to the Sumida River Terrace, where visitors can view the Tokyo Skytree and an outdoor ukiyo-e gallery on the walls.

In the Kuramae area, the route visits Kuramae Shrine, which features a statue of “”Motoinu,”” a character from a traditional rakugo story. Beyond Kuramae Station toward Asakusa, the walk reaches “”Fan Fan Street”” next to the Bandai headquarters. Various character statues are lined up along the street for passersby to enjoy. This video records the journey to Asakusa Station, where the atmosphere of the Sumida River meets the energy of the traditional downtown district.
