At more than 4,000 meters above sea level, Litang is known as the “World’s High City.” During my journey across Western Sichuan and the Hengduan Mountains, I unexpectedly came across a unique graduation ceremony in this highland town.

Beneath snow-capped mountains and endless blue skies, students who grew up on the Tibetan Plateau are stepping into a new chapter of life. Beyond the dramatic landscapes, Litang reveals something deeper: Kangba culture, local traditions, Gesar Square, Letong Ancient Town, and the everyday lives of people living close to the sky.

This is not just a travel story. It is a glimpse into youth, culture, and life on one of the highest inhabited regions in the world.

    康巴姑娘真是热情大方。非常遗憾，两次入藏都没有路过理塘（第一次从青藏线，第二次从滇藏线），此地誉为天空之城，向往之，争取第三次去的时候去看一下千户藏寨古城。
