東温「あじさいの杜」＆ 道後温泉街ぶらっと散歩/ 惣河内神社の山紫陽花/ 道後温泉×蜷川実花/ 道後公園/ 愛媛 四国
こんにちは Life in Shikoku です。愛媛県の東温市でアジサイの神社を訪れ、松山市の道後温泉周辺を散策しました。
東温市河之内地区「惣河内（そうこうち）神社」へ。境内に植えられた多種の山アジサイが有名で、「あじさいの杜」と言われています。歴史ある静かな神社で、大切に育てられた可愛らしい山アジサイが満開でした。丁寧に札が立てられ、花の名前も楽しむことが出来ました。
その後、松山市の道後公園へ。中世伊予の守護・河野氏の居城だった湯築城跡（国史跡）に整備された公園です。西側の内堀は、スイレンで埋め尽くされていました。隣接する道後温泉街を久しぶりに散歩。道後商店街の入口、道後温泉本館、道後温泉別館 飛鳥乃湯泉などの、蜷川実花さんの作品を見て回りました。和傘や花の作品で、道後の街が、とても華やかになったように感じました。この景色を、一緒に楽しんで頂けたら嬉しいです。
Hello, we are Life in Shikoku. We visited a shrine famous for its hydrangeas in Toon City, Ehime Prefecture, and took a stroll around the Dogo Onsen area in Matsuyama City.
First to Sokochi Shrine in the Kawanouchi district in Toon City. The shrine is famous for the many varieties of mountain hydrangeas planted on its grounds, which are known as the “Ajisai no mori (Hydrangea Grove)”. It’s a historic, peaceful shrine, and the lovely mountain hydrangeas—carefully tended—were in full bloom. Carefully placed signs allowed us to enjoy learning the names of the flowers as well.
After that, we headed to Dogo Park in Matsuyama City. The park was developed on the site of Yuzuki Castle (a National Historic Site), which served as the seat of the Kono clan—the medieval shugo (provincial governors) of Iyo. The inner moat on the west side was completely covered with water lilies. We took a stroll through the adjacent Dogo Onsen area for the first time in a while. We looked around at the works by Mika Ninagawa displayed at the entrance to the Dogo Shopping Street, the Dogo Onsen Main Building, and the Dogo Onsen Annex, Asuka no Yu. With her works featuring traditional Japanese umbrellas and flowers, we felt that the town of Dogo had become much more vibrant. We would be happy if you could enjoy this scenery with us.

総河内神社は古刹と呼ばれるにふさわしい佇まいですね。
あじさいとの風情が相まってより魅力的に見えます。
蜷川実花さんの作品はこちらでも話題になっています。
かつて蜷川幸雄さん演出のショーに参加していたことがありますが、
問題があると灰皿を投げつけるので手近なところにアルミの灰皿が用意されていたことを思い出しました。
才能は遺伝するものですね。
