    What you ate is Taiyaki (たい焼き). The name literally translates to "baked sea bream" (tai meaning sea bream, and yaki meaning baked/fried). In Japan, sea bream is a symbol of good luck and prosperity. If you start with the head – story is – you will get 'more intelligent', if you want to become stronger – you start with the tail … the irony is, I've learned this from another … bike riding guy that lives in Japan with his Vietnamese wife.

    I like the R9 Yard container hotels too. But not every time. I prefer still hotels with some kind off an Onsen or Ofuru. R9 did not have them.

    Dang, you missed the Hiraodai Plateau near Mt. Nukisan! That wouldve been an awesome route down to Kitakysushu aswell. I know, we cant be at every place, at the same time, but maybe you didnt know that spot. Please look it up, looks beautiful
