Today, I visited Moegi no Mura(Village) in the Kiyosato Highlands of Yamanashi Prefecture.Located at an altitude of 1200m, Moegi no Mura is currently in full bloom with roses.Moegi no Mura boasts beautiful country-style buildings and a natural garden supervised by landscape designer Paul Smither.
Moegi no Mura is a complex tourist area featuring restaurants, a hotel, a brewery, cafes, a carousel, a music box museum, and various craft shops and workshops.
In the summer, it hosts the Kiyosato Field Ballet, Japan’s only outdoor ballet performance.
