The walk begins at Sengawa Station, the gateway to the Sengawa district of Chofu City. From the lively atmosphere of the station plaza, the route proceeds into the Harmony Road shopping street. This area is known for its connection to music and the arts, housing the campus of the renowned Toho Gakuen School of Music. Beyond the commercial district, the scenery transitions into a calm residential area.

The route leads to Saneatsu Park, a significant local landmark. This park was established by Chofu City on the site of the former residence where novelist Saneatsu Mushanokoji spent his later years. The undulating terrain is covered in dense greenery, featuring ponds and bamboo groves. During this visit, Japanese irises were in full bloom along the water’s edge.

After passing the Mushanokoji Saneatsu Memorial Museum adjacent to the park, the walk continues through the serene residential streets of Chofu City. The path lined with private residences leads toward the goal at Tsutsujigaoka Station on the Keio Line. The walk concludes as the quiet neighborhood gradually gives way to the renewed activity around the station area.
