先ほどは、熊野若王子神社・千手の滝にまつわるエピソード動画をご視聴いただき、誠にありがとうございました [00:00]。夜のライブ配信では、私のライフワークの一つである「キッシーのご当地ソング全国漫遊」シリーズの第9弾をお届けいたします [00:19], [11:13]。
今回の舞台は、雄大な自然に囲まれた「長野県（信濃）」です [00:45]。
一般的に、日本の4大観光地を挙げるなら「北海道、京都、沖縄、長野」と言われるほど、長野県は全国的にも非常に人気の高い場所です [01:32], [01:39]。しかし、いざ「長野県を舞台にした有名なご当地ソング」を調べてみると、意外にも全国的な大ヒット曲としてはあまり数が多くないことに気づかされます [01:52], [02:08]。
長野ゆかりのキーワードが含まれる名曲といえば、私たちの世代なら誰もが口ずさめる「あずさ2号」（1977年）が思い浮かぶのではないでしょうか [04:06], [06:01]。都倉俊一さん作曲のこの曲は、「明日私は旅に出ます」という切ない歌い出しで一世を風靡した青春の思い出の一曲です [06:23], [07:13]。しかし、この曲はあくまで東京から出発する旅が描かれているため、純粋な長野県のご当地ソングとするには少し違うかもしれません [07:32]。
そこで、長野県を代表する最も歴史ある名曲として、今回は伝統的な民謡である『木曽節（きそぶし）』を取り上げることにいたしました [02:47], [07:49]。
木曽地域に伝わるこの民謡は、豊かなヒノキの山々や職人たちの営み、そして中山道の宿場町の情景が息づく素晴らしい歌です [03:12], [03:22]。大正から昭和にかけて現在の形に整えられ、今もなお多くの人々に愛され続けています [03:41]。
配信内では、お馴染みの「木曽のなかのりさん〜」という一節から始まる、情緒溢れる『木曽節』を4番まで心を込めて歌わせていただきました [08:08], [10:11]。
実はこの曲には、私にとってもう一つ大切な思い出がございます。かつてオーストラリア旅行へ出かけた際にご一緒させていただいた、飛騨高山で酪農を営まれていたご夫妻が、この『木曽節』を大変見事に披露してくださったのです [10:20], [10:32]。その時の素晴らしいご縁と旅の記憶が、今もこの歌を聴くたびに鮮やかによみがえります [10:40]。
日々、全国の皆さまと様々な形で繋がらせていただけるご縁に、心から感謝申し上げます [10:40]。

【Kissy’s® Local Song Tour Across Japan #9: Nagano Prefecture (Shinano) – Kisobushi 〜Live Stream〜】
Good evening, everyone. This is Kissy from “Kissy’s Kyoto” [00:00].
Thank you very much for watching my previous video sharing the story behind the Senju Falls at Kumano Nyakuoji Shrine [00:00]. For tonight’s live stream, I am delighted to present the 9th edition of my lifelong project, “Kissy’s Local Song Tour Across Japan” [00:19], [11:13].
Our destination for this episode is the breathtakingly beautiful “Nagano Prefecture (Shinano)” [00:45].
Nagano is widely considered one of Japan’s top four major tourist destinations, alongside Hokkaido, Kyoto, and Okinawa [01:32], [01:39]. However, when researching famous popular songs set in Nagano, it is surprisingly hard to find many nation-wide hit songs dedicated specifically to this prefecture [01:52], [02:08].
When we think of legendary songs associated with Nagano, “Azusa No. 2” (released in 1977) immediately comes to mind for our generation [04:06], [06:01]. Composed by Shunichi Tokura, its melancholic opening line, “Tomorrow, I am setting off on a journey,” makes it an unforgettable anthem of our youth [06:23], [07:13]. Nevertheless, since the story of this song begins with a departure from Tokyo, it might not strictly fit as a pure Nagano local song [07:32].
Therefore, I have chosen one of Nagano’s oldest and most iconic traditional folk songs for today’s showcase: “Kisobushi” [02:47], [07:49].
Originating from the Kiso region, this traditional folk song beautifully captures the essence of the lush Hinoki (cypress) forests, local craftsmanship, and the nostalgic atmosphere of the old Nakasendo post towns [03:12], [03:22]. Developed into its current form from the Taisho to early Showa eras, it remains deeply loved to this day [03:41].
In this stream, I poured my heart into singing all four verses of “Kisobushi,” starting with the famous opening phrase, “Kiso no Nakanori-san…” [08:08], [10:11].
This song holds a very special place in my personal memories as well. Years ago, during a trip to Australia, I met a wonderful couple who ran a dairy farm in Hida Takayama [10:20], [10:32]. They performed a magnificent rendition of “Kisobushi” for us, and the memory of that beautiful connection and journey still vividly returns to me whenever I hear this melody [10:40].
I am truly grateful for all the wonderful encounters and connections I continue to make with people all over the country [10:40].
