Japan’s Hidden Fishing Village Feels Unreal 🇯🇵
Kyoto has so much more to offer beyond Arashiyama and Kiyomizu-dera 🇯🇵
We took a day trip from Amanohashidate to Ine, a peaceful fishing village often called the Venice of Japan. With the traditional boathouses, calm bay, and slow pace of life, it felt unreal, like a little village that appears in Hayao Miyazaki’s animation.
We thought we were just going on a scenic boat ride… but the seagulls and eagles completely stole the show 🦅 The seagulls were gentle, but the eagles are aggressive, please watch out for them.
We spent a whole day walking around the quiet village, enjoying fresh seafood, and experiencing a totally different side of Kyoto that most tourists never see. Even with the constant weather changed, we are still falling in love with Ine 🤣
