The map you see in the video is the new administrative map of Vietnam. Last year, they merged 63 provinces and cities into 34. Therefore, the map of the old provinces/cities is actually smaller and more fragmented. Some old names are currently gone.
They also abolished the designation of "city within a province," eliminated many administrative divisions, and merged small, scattered areas into a larger, more centralized unit. For example, last year, Nha Trang city was still part of Khanh Hoa province. But now it's just Khanh Hoa province. Nha Trang is probably just the name of a district now.
Currently, the only places with the title "city" are: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, Da Nang, Can Tho, Hue, and Dong Nai. In the near future, within this year and the next 1-2 years, four more provinces will be upgraded to city status: Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh, Khanh Hoa, and Ninh Binh.

Đây là thành phố trực thuộc trung ương thứ 4 xếp theo đơn vị hành chính quốc gia Việt Nam nhưng kinh tế kém phát triển. GRDP chỉ có khoảng 13 tỷ usd là 1 trong những Thành phố kém phát triển nhất cả nước 😢

Thành phố trực thuộc trung ương kém phát triển nhất, tăng trưởng kinh tế 7,5% so với nguồn lực khổng lồ là bất hợp lí, ban lãnh đạo của thành phố nên viết đơn xin từ chức 😤
