The ‘Le Départ de Ayase’ roses are blooming magnificently in the Ayase Rose Garden.

Today, I visited the Ayase Rose Garden in Ayase City, Kanagawa Prefecture. The Ayase Rose Garden is a free rose garden comprised of 11 unique gardens. Each garden features distinctive plants that complement the roses beautifully.
The garden was renovated and reopened last May, thanks to the efforts of rose breeder Takashi Kawai. On May 12th, the day I filmed this video, the cumulative number of visitors reached exactly 200,000. The symbolic rose of Ayase, “Le Départ de Ayase,” was created by Takashi Kawai.
