Robertson, Australia – The Town Where “Babe” Was Filmed – Full 4K Tour With Subtitled History

Robertson is the Australian town in the Southern Highlands region of New South Wales that Hollywood loved and I think that you will too. This high altitude town is flanked on all sides by lush green pastures and jaw dropping scenery.

The reason why so many people might know this town is because it was the filming location for the hit 1995 movie “Babe”. The movie was filmed on numerous local farms, with some scenes taking place in the town itself.

If you’re from Sydney the town is an ideal day-trip destination, the village features craft shopping, restaurants to satisfy the foodies, you can buy fresh local agricultural produce, you can visit some of the towns local attractions such as The Robertson Hotel, The Big Potato or Robertson Nature Park. Make sure that you also try the historic walk!

In this comprehensive driving and walking tour video I will take you to a lot of significant locations within the town, and along the way I will share some historical and contemporary information.

The town is also a central location for accessing a lot of the natural attractions of the Southern Highlands of New South Wales. With the famous Fitzroy Falls right nearby, along with other spectacular waterfalls and national parks.
