Inside Shinjuku’s Labyrinth | The Underground World Most Tourists Never Find
Shinjuku Station. 3.5 million passengers a day. The busiest station on earth, and one of the most disorienting.
In this video, I walk a route through Shinjuku’s west exit that only commuters know, threading through tower lobbies, underground shopping streets, skybridges, and tunnels, all connected into one layered maze.
Two levels of ground. Moving walkways. A very, very long tunnel. A rooftop view most tourists never stop for. And somewhere in there, a LOVE sculpture and a silk cocoon-shaped tower.
No famous sights. Just the city, doing what it does.
This is the Shinjuku that doesn’t appear in any guidebook.
