  1. sorry to see you are getting so many problems with trevor whats needed when you get to nz is a speacilist pop top maker rather than just an installer as you need their speacialist knowledge to rectify the faults with trevors pop top ,chances are a lot of it can be sorted with silicon along the joins but what was worrying is the way it came through the canvas this suggests the fabric wasnt waterproofed properly

  2. So sorry guys they done a terrible job. I had a feeling it wasn’t a good job with the little problems at the start. I hope things can get sorted out

  3. Go back to my comments prior to the finished build, this contraption wont see a wet spell out never mind a monsoon season. We here in Thailand have our first day of 3 months of monsoon season. You need to take it back to the builder and get your money back guys 😲

  4. You need to return it to the manufacturer. All that water will have possibly damaged more than you can see at the moment. Meaning it won’t just be the leaking issue you will have to resolve. This could be a pretty expensive fix.

  5. The ultimate "Man vs Machine" mashup. Chris and Maryanne against "Temperamental Trever". It always darkest right before the dawn. When one door closes, another opens. Tame Temperamental Trever's leaky traits. There's always an answer. He has been tested, and yes he failed. But tomorrow is another day. Stay tuned!

  6. I wish you all the best moving forward and sincerely hope that qualified professionals in New Zealand will be able to resolve this. “Everything works out in the end.”

  7. what a shame, brand new. cut your losses and get a real sprinter camper even if it's second hand.

  8. You have been totally ripped off.. by a bunch of cowboys.. you wont see a penny back. Get to new zealnd they will know how to fix it.

  9. We know how horrific this has been and it's the last way you wanted to start this big trip, but we love you, and you've got this 💕💕

  10. So I would rent a camper in Malaysia, then take a plane and rent a camper again in New Zealand; much better. What you are doing won't work for me. Respect to you, really.

  11. So sad to see, but I'm sure it's all repairable. My solution would be to have a UV resistant clear vinyl skirt permanently attached to the roof lip which would overhang the body by at least a foot when the roof is fully open. I can't believe that the builders didn't see that there would be a gutter all the way around the body section with the water having nowhere to go. Hope you guys get sorted asap. Good luck.

  12. Dang… second week we were left hanging at same point.. I’m invested to see this fixed! 🙏

  13. Bring back old faithful Trudy bed it would go round again put new timing belt on full service and she will go again

  14. I’d want my money back, the van isn’t fit for purpose. Really feel for you both, but it wasn’t great from the off

  15. Onwards and upwards guys. NZ will surely be easier. Its blue skies and crisp morning here. Beautiful scenery in south island.
