The Shrine Enveloped in the Tranquility of a Mountain Village Where Cherry Blossoms are in Bloom
Yahashira Shrine is located in a tranquil mountainous area in central Ehime Prefecture. In 1590, eight neighboring shrines were consolidated into this one location. The shrine is surrounded by ancient trees, some of which are approximately 400 years old, and the area is designated as a natural environment conservation area by the village.
