Cetara – Amalfi Coast’s Most Authentic Village (4K Walking Tour)
Cetara sits quietly between the big names of the Amalfi Coast, but as this 4K walking tour will show you, this fishing village in Italy is very much worth stopping in – a working harbor, clear water, an untouched old center, and a 2,000-year-old anchovy sauce you won’t find anywhere else.
Most people head straight for Positano or Amalfi and skip right past this place.
But Cetara, just 6 km from Salerno and set between Vietri sul Mare and Maiori, has something none of those towns can claim: Colatura di Alici, an ancient anchovy sauce that takes up to four years to make. I think that alone makes it worth a day trip!
But there’s a lot more to see once you’re here.
On this tour we start at Marina Beach, walk the harbor, then climb to the watchtower and down to Lannio Beach (one of Amalfi Coast’s most beautiful beaches). From there, we head through the old town and finish at the Amalfi Drive viewpoint above.
If you think you’ve seen the Amalfi Coast, Cetara might just change your mind! 😉

beautiful cetara and sunny spring day beach! 🏖️ 😊❤❤❤
Tutta la Costa Amalfitana é fantastica. Il mio problema sono le salite e le scale. É facile scendere ma salire sotto il caldo…é un altra storia per chi ha problemi cardiaci o di circolazione del sangue.
❤❤❤
