I’m so glad to have Osaka on the first bloom of Sakura trees in Japan. I tried to bid for April (first week is the full bloom for Osaka area) but I didn’t get my bid unfortunately due to overlapping schedules with Hangzhou (which I also enjoyed btw 😄). I just follow the sakura forecast from Japan government if you wonder how to check the timings. Interestingly, their forecasts are almost accurate 😅 One thing I like about Japan – reliability 👌🏻

I love cherry blossoms 🌸 because i like pink and I find spring magical and full of hope. After flying the route for some time, I already know my usual stuff to buy so now I get the chance to roam around even for a short stay. It’s been a long time since I went to Japan. As a Filipino, it is a sad fact that we have to apply for a lot of visas at almost everywhere we go. I mean, I can’t blame them. Filipinos love to live in other countries illegally so I definitely do understand the rigid rule they have to impose against us. On the brighter side, I was able to get a job as a crew so even though I am a Filipino, I get to travel to my favorite countries without the hassle of applying for visas 😆 So pardon me if I travel a lot. This is my only chance ok 😄

So after arriving from the flight, I did my usual onsen and slept early. I was supposed to meet my friend but got conflict in schedule so I just pushed through Osaka Castle trip. I think it was 2014 when I got a long stay Osaka and my friend helped me tour around Osaka-Namba-Nara area and it became a core memory. So now after a decade, as a big girl that I am now, I have to navigate Japan on my own 😂

I love the food. The place. The ambiance. Japan will always be in my heart. Arigatou Gozaimasu once again. Thank you for the shore pass 🙏🏻 And to those watching, one day you’ll walk the same streets. As I said in the vlog, just book that ticket! Because life is short and we don’t know what tomorrow will bring ☺️ Even for us as a crew, if the routes get cancelled so we don’t get another chance. So we live now and enjoy while we can😇
