I took the overnight ferry, Salvia Maru, to Izu Oshima.
The Mt. Mihara hiking free tour I booked was a great deal, including the overnight ferry, a one-day bus pass, breakfast, hot springs, and high-speed boat ride.
On the Mt. Mihara hike, I walked 13km, from Mt. Mihara Observation Deck→the West Crater Observatory → around the crater rim → the Phantom Pond → the Front Desert → Red Valley → the Back Desert → and finally arrived at the hot spring hotel.
