2025年にリルを訪れるべき理由 – 北ウェールズ、リルのガイド
Welcome to our Why You SHOULD Visit Rhyl In 2025 Vlog, where we take a look at the state of Rhyl this year, what work has been done, what is currently being done, what facilities there are and much more.
We even have some celebrity guests in the form of the incredible Mr Phyl Harries, and the legendary Bobby Davro and Katie Price.
In this 2025 Rhyl vlog, we take a look and see if Rhyl is worth visiting in 2025 and if so, why we think that you should visit Rhyl.
Rhyl often gets a bit of a bad reputation, having previously won the ‘Worst Seaside Town In Great Britain’ award, but is Rhyl really that bad? Is Rhyl really worth visiting in 2025, make sure you watch this video to find out.
Over the Rhyl vlog, we concentrate mostly on the sea front and the shopping area, checking out the Marine Lake, the Dragon Bridge, the Mike Peters statue, where we pay our respects for his recent passing. We visit a fish and chip shop that was recommended to us on our last Rhyl vlog, where we asked if Rhyl was worth visiting in 2024?
We take a look at the beautiful beach, Rhyl town centre and see what state the shops in Rhyl are and see if many of the shops are boarded up or not. We visit the arcades, where Rach has to play the 2p falls machine and much much more.

We also stop off at the Rhyl Pavilion Theatre and watch an Easter pantomime featuring our good friend, Phyl Harries, plus Boddy Davro, Katie Price, George and Zippy and more.
Make sure you watch to the end of our Rhyl vlog, for our weekly joke – we may have a celebrity joke teller this week.
We’ll be honest, we love Rhyl, having spent lots of time here as youngsters, back when it was packed most weekends, it’s a place this is really dear to our hearts, but what is it like in 2025, is it worth visiting? Watch this video and let us tell you why we think you should visit Rhyl in 2025.
On our way home, we dropped by to Brickfield Pond, a beautiful nature reserve just outside of the town centre. We had never been here before but it was stunning.
So if you’re looking for things to do in Rhyl, this is the Rhyl, North Wales vlog for you.
As always, we sum up our day at home with a well deserved pint, and as we always say in Postcard and a Pint, Cheers to the good times x

⭐ About Postcard & A Pint:
Welcome to the official Postcard & A Pint YouTube channel.
Postcard & A Pint was thought up by my partner, Rachel & myself, Wills one day while taking our daily 1 hour exercise during the lockdown of 2020. All of a sudden, we were spending more time together, not working 6 or 7 days a week in the arts industry, and binge watching travel programs, and we were actually really enjoying it, and it made us re-evaluate what was important in life for us. Now back to working 6 or 7 days a week again, with very little time off, our happy time is getting out there on our brief times off together and making short travel videos that we are now sharing with you. It’s just a bit of fun, and great for our sanity. Your support is hugely appreciated x

At last a balanced view of Rhyl instead of highlighting the negatives all the time. Keep up the good work.
Ooh very nice drone shots to open with 😃👌. Think we say this on each Rhyl vlog, but that beach really is gorgeous, can't believe how empty it was on a weekend! It is such a shame that these seaside resorts will never get back to what they were in their heyday, but we agree, Rhyl is looking a little better this year👍. Ooh fish and chips on the beach, now that's a top day out in anyone's book 😋🍟. They did look like HUGE portions😂. We agree, the big fair is missed, it would bring a lot of families back to Rhyl for summer days out. But you know what, we would definitely still visit, even if it was only to go for a walk along the beach and enjoy some sunshine and chips! Ah you were off your game with the 2p falls Rach, that's a £1 you will never get back😂🙈. We always enjoy these annual Rhyl vlogs guys, we wonder what will have changed by next year 🤔. Thanks for taking us along!
Have a fabulous weekend,
Shell and Pete
Ps loving the celebrity jokes! 😂🙌
Interesting video friend👍🤗💙
Just subscribe to your channel. Love your videos. You both should be a chat show host fabulous places where I've been and Rhyl shame about the town centre keep it up guys ❤……
Apparently millennials almost made crabs go extinct.
Seaside towns are always a bit crap, but I don't know Rhyl has a reputation for being more crap than most.
Not the first time I've seen wood at the beach.
Candied dummies probably haven't got smaller, maybe your gob got bigger? 😜 I know, I know, shrinkflation is a thing. I don't know who Cadbury are trying to kid with their "family blocks" now.
On a completely different note, I was watching a video of the Manic Street Preachers performing a couple of years ago and the stage was covered in Welsh flags. I've been a fan of the Manics for decades and I've only just found out they are Welsh. Who knew?
I want to enjoy a relaxing vacation in a place like this.❤
Hey there, fantastic video. I love the story, the rise and fall, and fingers crossed another rise on the horizon!! Loved your style, you got a few big laughs out of me!!

Great memories of Rhyl in 80s.
Let's hope things carry on improving for the town.
Thanks from travelhappywithhoward 😊

Home of the alarm 🎸🎸
Great video guys. Mary from The Town Fryer made a lovely gluten free fish and chips for my late wife. Lovely lady. I now live the Marine Lake. By the way someone is taking over The Vue cinema.
Try filming on a Saturday !
Sorry was that a fly on the sausage ?
Rhyl is a dump and it's gone derelict
Thank you for your video ❤ I say hello asking who’s Mary and I saw her on YouTube.. they were very happy and the food is very delicious. Mary is also very friendly
Personally i preferred Rhyl with the fair amusement arcades and tacky shops know it's just boring.
Im going to tomorrow and havent been since i was a kid in the 80s
No tourist to buy the stuff in the high street
Best Chip Shop in North Wales quality and quantity in fact she's undercharging and needs bigger premises
Closed the Loo's on the front as well. Great vlog.Love the walk along the front.
We didn't get to see Ljubljana- so very excited for this as we loved what we saw of Slovenia. Fascinating to learn of its Roman origins. Love the look of the old town. Lovely video Alice. 🍻
Great to see you not moaning about Rhyl too much as most do, we go up most weeks, always go to Marys, best chippy in UK. Saw Mike peters lots of times, he was a really nice guy. Cheers.
Great video, parents used to take us down on holiday in the summer to Rhyl in the 80s, was always packed with people.. shame they got rid of the funfair that attracted a lot of families, great memories though and hopefully this great seaside town makes a comeback
I visited Rhyl from the US last month. It's clear from looking around that it has seen better days. But, I had a nice time and met some friendly people. Hopefully, Rhyl will continue to improve as I'm looking forward to my next visit.
Great Video, well done 5+++++
How lovely to see the positive side. More like the Rhyl I remember from the 1960s. Thank you for this.
Love the video and so nice to see you enjoying Rhyl.
Honestly, nice video, but rhyl is not as nice as you see if u go in town 99% of time you will see a drunk person most places are closed down you have arguments during the night during the summer (tourist season ) rhys turns nicer for a couple weeks but after that its just a horrible place to live take it from someone who has lived their for 7 years
Maxine car lives in Rhyl
