Biking around Zamami! 座間味島を自転車で一周

Hello and welcome back! こんにちわ、チャンネルへようこそ！(Filmed: 11/2023) This video is from our 2nd day in Okinawa! 沖縄2日目！座間味島に行っていました！嵐が来た！☔️ We were so lucky because we speak Japanese; it was necessary to survive this trip with all the weather updates, and we were able to make friends! 🥳🗾日本語を話せたことを嬉しく思います！島で出会った人全員と日本語で話しました。友達を作ったり、天気について学んだりするのにとても役立ちました。😅でも、日本語はまだまだです。📚

Day 2! We biked around the island and visited many beach spots while going through the village and the mountains!🌾 自転車に乗るのは楽しい！Due to the boat cancellations and the wave conditions, many activities were cancelled and shops took a day off.⛵️ We were able to meet lots of people and there were 7 other tourists on the island (from Japan, Europe and America). この旅行はめっちゃ楽しかった！🥬🍠 This trip was so fun!✨

I tried peanuts tofu!🥜 It’s one of my favorite tofu dishes in the world now. The texture of the tofu was so interesting and the peanut sauce was so fresh! I wish that they served larger portions of it hahah! ジーマーミ豆腐をたべました！🥜本当においしかったです！世界の中で、ジーマーミ豆腐は一番好き食べものです！また食べたい！❤️

The night before, there was a storm and our new friends told us that the waves might be too strong to leave. In the morning, we woke up and our hotel manager confirmed the situation. We prepared to hear that we would be stuck on the island but it was still surprising!🌀 Apparently it happens often during the stormy seasons and all the hotel employees, on the islands and on Naha, know this situation is possible.🌊 Luckily it was easy for us to adjust our hotel reservations! It was still stressful because our flight was only 2 days away and we couldn’t miss it.
