一期一会！First day on Zamami Island! 沖縄の座間味島

Hello and welcome back! こんにちわ、チャンネルへようこそ！(Filmed: 11/2023) This video is our 1st day in Okinawa! We went to Zamami Island for a day trip… but we will soon find out that we will stay much longer than 1 day. Watch the storm approach!⚡️このビデオは私たちの沖縄初日です！座間味島に行ってきました！嵐が来た！☔️

I was very interested in Okinawa because it’s one of the world’s 5 blue zones! The lifestyle and the special vegetables, native to the islands, are part of the reason. Throughout this trip we try many new local Okinawan foods. The champuru was amazing but the tofuyou was not my favorite hahah. Among Japanese people, tofuyou is also a hit or miss. It is fermented in red yeast and awamori (alcohol) and the texture is like cheese. 日本の中で、沖縄に行くのが一番楽しみでした！沖縄の野菜を食べたかった！🥬🍠🥜　チャンプルが大好きでした！豆腐ようはちょっと。。。好きじゃない。

この旅行はめっちゃ楽しかった！✨This trip was so fun! Even though there were storms, we had a great time with our new friends! We learned a lot about Okinawa🌴🥳 あこちゃんは「一期一会」と言ってます。ありがとうございました！There’s a saying like “once in a lifetime meeting” or “once in a lifetime chance” and I think our experience in Zamami Okinawa was great because of the people we met and without ocean activities, we had a chance to explore the island.🌺
