You can feel the history in the roots of the trees that weave between the cobblestones.The atmosphere is amazing.It feels like an adventure.The promenade is about 1km long on a rock wall created by upheavals caused by earthquakes, weathering, and erosion by waves. It’s like a beehive.This time we stayed at the Fairfield by Marriott Mie Kumano Kodo Mihama Fairfield by Marriott There are 29 Michi-no-Eki hotels nationwide, so it’s a good place to go sightseeing in local areas. It’s in the perfect location.This time, it was also very convenient as a base for traveling in the Kumano, Nachi, and Mihama areas.There ‘s also a lobby lounge for guests only, and a marketplace where you can buy local sweets and drinks, so you can spend a comfortable time in Wakayama.・Mie is famous for mandarin oranges, so there are many kinds of mandarin orange juice that guests can buy.It ‘s not like mackerel sushi.It ‘s a really nice view.Is it an enclave of Giri Wakayama Prefecture ? Wakayama Prefecture is surrounded by Nara Prefecture and Mie Prefecture and is not connected to Wakayama Prefecture . This time I came to go rafting . It was crazy. I lost momentum from the beginning, haha! Cold! It feels good . It’s famous for being intense, but there are also gentle places like this, so you can enjoy the scenery while taking a break ! It’s a rock, a mountain, and a sky in the mountains.It ‘s quite difficult to access, right? If you don’t have a base here, like the hotel you’ll be staying at this time, it might be difficult to come from the city.We’re finally here! Maruyama Senmaida is said to be the most beautiful landscape in Japan.It is one of the largest terraced rice fields in Japan, and there are about 1,340 rice terraces.Higanbana blooms beautifully from mid-September to late September.Free coffee and tea are available at the lobby lounge. There are also seats with WiFi and power outlets, so it’s perfect for working in the morning while drinking coffee.Miso soup is also available in the lounge, so you can drink it freely.If you make a reservation in advance, you can enjoy a lot of local ingredients. Today I came to Mikan Bark Shichirimihama because the Fairfield by Marriott Michi-no-Eki Hotel is always attached to the roadside station.I tasted it and they sell everything, so you can also buy it.It ‘s really beautiful. Japan’s longest gravel beach, Shichirimihama, which stretches for about 22 km. I was overwhelmed by the force of the waves crashing. I came here to have an early lunch. It was delicious. This Kumano River was once used as a “river pilgrimage route” to connect the Kumano Sanzan and transport daily necessities. For about 2 hours, we rode the traditional wooden boat “Santanho” and slowly cruised around the Kumano River. It was so much fun! On the way there, I started the engine, but on the way back, the boat was moving faster and faster with just the power of the wind, and it felt so good with the autumn breeze.The autumn breeze felt really nice . It was warm and the wind was blowing and it was cool and the sound of the waves and the water was such a soothing sound lol I thought I was going to sleep lol It was my 5th time this year lol It was too much lol Last time it rained heavily so I couldn’t really see it. But it’s a good thing that it’s quite sunny today. You can see it properly … It’s really impressive… A 3-day trip centered around the World Heritage Site “Kumano Kodo” that leads to the Kumano Sanzan. This road connects the mountains, oceans, and rivers. I was able to meet many wonderful places along the way .
