From Naha to Ginoza , I first took the Okinawa Expressway. The closest interchange to Ginoza Stadium is the Ginoza Interchange, but before that I’m going to stop at the roadside station Ginoza, so I’ll get off the expressway at the Kin Interchange. After getting off the expressway, take National Route 331. At this roadside station Ginoza, there is a small display of the Hanshin Tigers, so I think it might be worth a visit. It was quite fulfilling. Exit the roadside station and continue along National Route 331 towards the stadium. It was a short walk from the roadside station to the stadium. We have arrived. The Hanshin Tigers’ spring training camp has been held here in Ginoza since 2003 . In fact, 9 out of 12 teams will camp here in Okinawa, including the DeNA BayStars and Yakult Swallows . Professional baseball spring training camps are a tourist resource for Okinawa during the off-season. I’m back , oh, oh, Maekawa ! Yamada-kun! Nakagawa, Noguchi, Itsubo Inoue, Hirodai! Hirodai do your best! But this is an indoor practice area, with a one-way mirror so you can’t see inside . No one other than players, team officials, and reporters are allowed to enter.
