[ベトナム🇻🇳ハノイvlog]3泊4日 | バッチャン焼き | グルメ | カフェ | スパ | ハロン湾
This is a Vietnam travel vlog. In November 2024, I went to Hanoi, Vietnam for 3 nights and 4 days. This time I used Vietjet. I had heard that there were many delays, but the flight departed on time without any problems. It takes about 6 and a half hours to reach Hanoi’s Noi Bai Airport. Since Vietjet is an LCC, I bought some snacks and brought them with me. I am grateful for the candy my friend gave me to help with dryness. We have arrived in Hanoi! It’s already hot inside the plane. One thing to be careful of at Noi Bai Airport is water rip-offs. If you’re careless, you’ll end up buying an 800 yen Volvic like we did. Take a taxi from the airport to the hotel. I was supposed to call a taxi using an app called “Grab,” but I couldn’t meet the driver because the topography of the airport didn’t work well with the app’s map, so I negotiated the price and took a nearby taxi, even though it was a little expensive. We are approaching the old quarter of Hanoi. Arrived at the hotel. It was a very beautiful hotel near Hoan Kiem Lake! The wash basin is large enough for two people to use. There was only a shower booth, but the water pressure was sufficient! (Some rooms have a bathtub) I chose a smaller room, but I had no problems and was comfortable! The interior of the elevator was also nice! I’m heading to the chocolate shop. Vietnam produces high-quality cacao and is famous for its sour chocolate. Please be careful as the bike may suddenly cut in. There are a lot of bikes! It’s no surprise that it’s called “Motorcycle Heaven.” It’s full of exotic feeling and it’s fun just walking around. I came to Maison Marou. The package is cute. It’s a high-quality chocolate, so it’s reasonably priced. It was November 1st, and it wasn’t quite Halloween yet. I sampled a lot of food and bought souvenirs. Paper bags are also kind of fashionable. There were wonderful cafes all over the city. I came to a cafe with a cute interior. Visiting cafes is also one of the purposes of this trip. When you think of Vietnam, you think of Vietnamese coffee, but I got sick from caffeine during a past overseas trip, so I decided to try black tea to see how things would go. It had salted cream on top and was delicious. Vietnam’s cafe culture has been cultivated since the French colonial period, and there were wonderful cafes all over the city. Let’s go eat dinner! It was about a 15 minute walk from the cafe, so I decided to walk. This is a popular restaurant that has even received a Michelin star. I was able to get a seat inside the restaurant without making a reservation. If you would like to enjoy a food stall-style open kitchen while seated on the terrace, it may be a good idea to make a reservation. Fresh spring rolls with papaya and sausage. It was delicious, but maybe a little hard. Grilled eel vermicelli. The eel was grilled to a crisp and was really delicious!!! I was looking forward to the banh xeo. It is no exaggeration to say that I came here to eat this. It was eaten wrapped in rice paper with banh xeo and herbs, and it was so delicious! Everything I ate in Vietnam was delicious, but this one ranked number 1 and 2 in terms of deliciousness. I really liked the herbal flavor. If I have a chance, I would like to come back to eat here…!!! By the way, the open kitchen outside looks like this. Thank you for the meal! We headed to our next destination while wandering around the city. It’s busy until quite late. I bought a postcard on the way. I think there were a lot of shops selling postcards. On this trip, I had a goal of going to one spa a day. A 60-minute foot massage costs about 2 to 3,000 yen. They take very careful care of you. It was great because my legs were so full. I came to a nearby cafe with refreshed legs. The one on the left is Hanoi’s famous “egg coffee.” It tasted like raw eggs, which I didn’t like. My friend said it was delicious, so it seems that tastes are quite different. Restaurants in Hanoi often have small chairs outside As the temperature was just right, we relaxed and had tea outside. I passed Hanoi Cathedral on my way home. This concludes the first day! This is my second day in Hanoi. I’m going to have banh mi for breakfast. The weather is nice and it feels good! Hoan Kiem Lake in the morning was the best. The weather in Hanoi in November was just right, making it a perfect day to hang out in the city. A banh mi restaurant that is very popular with tourists. You can take out from here, but you can also eat at the dining space across the street. I went around 8 o’clock and got in without lining up. The interior has a cute atmosphere overall. Mango smoothie and avocado smoothie were recommended to drink in various travel logs. This avocado smoothie was so delicious! Banh Mi is a dish born from the fusion of French and Vietnamese food cultures. The bread is crispy and extremely delicious! I ordered two types of banh mi, and the other menu items all looked delicious. Thank you for the meal! Take a serious stroll through the old town. The city is colorful and full of exoticism. I came here to buy Vietnamese coffee. In addition to coffee, they also sell various souvenirs. I bought Anne’s Maison’s original blend. The city is colorful and vivid. It’s fun just taking a walk. There was a dried fruit shop there so I took a detour. The sun is strong, but the wind feels good. We will make a short stop at Dong Xuan Market. Dong Xuan Market is the largest indoor market in Hanoi. This time I only looked around the entrance. The second and third floors seem to mainly sell clothing items. It might be a good place to buy souvenirs to give away. I took the opportunity to take a motorcycle taxi. For some reason, instead of riding with two people, I decided to ride with three people. It was very refreshing and fun. You will arrive at your destination in no time. I came to a cute general store. All at very reasonable prices. This chest is so cute… I bought some pastel colored cutlery. This is a Bachchanyaki restaurant. The loose design is really cute. I’m worried… shopping while traveling is difficult, isn’t it? This cup was the shape I really liked. It’s durable, lightweight, and easy to use. I should have bought more. I was tired from worrying so I took a break at a cafe. Peach yogurt and lemongrass ginger tea. The yogurt was rich and extremely delicious! I ordered ginger tea because I wanted to feel refreshed, but it was much sweeter than I expected… I relaxed for a while while looking outside. The package is so cute! ALLUVIA chocolate is 100% manufactured in Vietnam. There were so many flavors, I was really confused…! If you like the taste, you can try it. I came here to eat bun cha. In Vietnamese, “buon” = rice noodles “char” = dipping sauce Rice noodles are eaten by dipping them in a dipping sauce with lots of pork. I felt like there were a lot of colorful and traditional designs. Personally, Banh Xeo and Bun Cha were the top two. Thank you for the meal! After filling my stomach, I move on to my next destination. Roads that aren’t the main streets are also fun. I arrived at Hanseatic Market. It’s a market with a long history, but the elevators seemed very high-tech. This is a Batchan-yaki restaurant that is also listed in guidebooks. I felt like there were a lot of colorful and traditional designs. The clerk explained it to me in Japanese. I bought astragalus and a soap dispenser. It was getting crowded so I withdrew. I came to a cafe near Hoan Kiem Lake. I climbed the stairs as hard as I could to the 4th floor. It was great to be able to take a leisurely break on the balcony. An event was held near Hoan Kiem Lake. Haagen Dazs! ! ! Mango, raspberry, and blueberry that you don’t see in Japan. It was expensive, but it was delicious. (About 1000 yen for 2 scoops) Thang Long Water Puppet Theater. I didn’t have time this time so I gave up. We also buy souvenirs at the supermarket near the hotel. I bought macadamia nuts. There are so many types…! There were also many types of drip coffee. Instant foods and daily necessities were sold on the second floor. I came to St. Joseph’s Cathedral (Hanoi Cathedral). It is a historical building with a history of over 100 years, and you can see beautiful stained glass. Saint Joseph is the patron saint of Vietnam and Indochina. I came to a general store near the cathedral. All the items on display were cute. I went to a spa near the cathedral. This time I did a full body course. You can choose the fragrance of the oil. It felt so refreshing! I came here to eat dinner. Beer after the spa is the best! ! My friend said that the pho here was the most delicious. MET has several stores in Hanoi, so if the store is full, they will guide you to a vacant store. Everything I ordered was delicious! Thank you for the meal! I went to the weekend night market in the old town. There are so many people…! ! I didn’t really want anything, so I just enjoyed the atmosphere! Day 2 is over! Good night! good morning. It’s the third day of my Vietnam trip! Hotel breakfast buffet. It was delicious. The scrambled eggs were made right in front of me. Today we will take a tour of Ha Long Bay. I booked the tour on KKday after arriving in Vietnam. Found a dog. What you can see in the distance is Long Bien Bridge. It takes about 2 and a half hours to get to Halong Bay by bus. The mango smoothie I bought during the break was delicious. Arrived at the cruise ship terminal. Since it was a Sunday, it was quite crowded. Many cruise ships from other tours were also docked there. I’m leaving. Ha Long Bay, a World Heritage Site, means “the place where the dragon descends”. The sight of 2,000 strangely shaped rocks of various sizes sticking out was very fantastic. Ha Long Bay has been compared to being like an ink painting, and with the cloudy sky, it really did look like that. I would also like to see what it looks like on a clear day. This is all luck… Most tours come with a lunch buffet. We arrived at Sung Sot Cave. You have to climb 50 steps to get to the entrance, but there were so many tourists that it was very congested. From the entrance, go down the steep stairs. Stalactites that have grown over many years create a mysterious landscape. Narrow passages like this give you a sense of exploration and are fun. I went out into a wide space. The road is well maintained and has fences. I never imagined that there would be such a large space. Sorry for the shaky camera… It’s strange how things naturally turn out like this. The exit is now in sight. Everywhere I looked, the space made of stalactites was interesting, and I enjoyed it until the very end. Next up is Luong Cave. Enter through the tunnel-like entrance by riding a kayak or boat. There are so many people on tour, and there is no emotion! It seems to be difficult to row without colliding. Some people were capsized. Luong Cave is a pit, so there is no ceiling. It reminded me of “Porco Rosso”, although it’s completely different. The lower part of the rock has been carved away by seawater. It’s interesting to observe the tunnel ceiling. Finally, there is Teatop Island. There is an observation deck at the top of the island. I gathered my spirits and started climbing. We will climb up more than 400 steps. The stairs are narrow, so it’s difficult to pass each other. While we were taking a break, other tourists called out to us and said, “Let’s do our best!” It’s the last spurt. We arrived at the observation deck. There are a lot of tour boats. The view on the other side was lovely. I hope it’s sunny the next time I come! I’m sure my muscles will be sore tomorrow. A sunset party that almost always comes with the tour. I decided to take a quick break from the blaring Gangnam Style music and relax. The wind feels good. All in all, it was a fun tour. You can make tour reservations even the day before, so it might be a good idea to check the weather and crowds before making a reservation. This is the service area we stopped at on the way home. I’m back in Hanoi! This is the best beer you can drink while exhausted at the Hanoi Opera Theater, which you gave up on due to lack of time. I ordered fresh spring rolls, beef pho, and bun bon nan bou. Bun Bo Nan Bo is a mixed noodle with beef, topped with lots of fried onions and peanuts. It was a restaurant with a gentle flavor overall. I would also like to try Bun Bo Nam Bo from another restaurant. I discovered this New Batchan grill restaurant by chance. New Batchan-yaki is characterized by being thin, light, and smooth. Many of the designs had a modern feel and were all cute. All of these bean plates were cute. But it’s super cheap! I didn’t feel that way, so I didn’t shop here. While taking a walk in the evening, I headed to Train Street. When we arrived, the train was just about to arrive! It’s closer than I thought! Please enjoy Train Street at night for a while. Second dog encounter today. I was so excited to go to Train Street if I had time, but the view was so enjoyable that I’m glad I came! Finally, I went to the spa. It was open until 1 a.m., and the prices were reasonable. I felt refreshed before boarding the plane. Since I had to leave early in the morning, I just took a bath and checked out. I was able to use “Grab” safely on the way back. Arrived safely at the airport. By the way, I didn’t take advantage of my reflection from the first day and ended up buying another 800 yen Volvic. It was a quick 3 nights and 4 days. There were still some restaurants I wanted to go to and things I wanted to eat, but I just didn’t have the time. If I have a chance to come next time, I would like to go around more slowly. Thank you for viewing this far!
