【日本シリーズ’25】第１戦行って来ました！タイガースが勝った唯一の試合（涙）
October 25, 2025, Shin-Osaka Hello, this is Riko. I’m currently on the Shinkansen platform at Shin-Osaka Station. Why am I here? Surprise! I managed to get tickets to Game 1 of the Japan Series! Off to Fukuoka! Nozomi No. 19 bound for Hakata. Shin-Yamaguchi, the last stop on Honshu. Landing in Kyushu! Arriving at Hakata Station! Transferring to the subway. Get off at Tenjin Station. Heading to the hotel. My accommodation for the night is Plaza Hotel Premier, located in the heart of the Tenjin entertainment district . Arriving at Tojinmachi Station , the closest station to PayPay Dome. It’s a massive migration (lol). It’s about a 15-minute walk from the station. PayPay Dome is in sight. It’s been about a year and a half since I last visited PayPay Dome. The Dome is here!
Yes, yes, it’s Game 1 of the Japan Series ! I managed to get tickets! Mizuho PayPay Dome Fukuoka . Oh, this is the place to be. Official Japan Series merchandise . The Japan Series merchandise section is quite busy. Some of the tickets are already sold out , but there’s
a line. It’s crazy long! This is the Hanshin Tigers merchandise booth. There are more people here, but I’ll go in now. I’m inside – should I put my bag down and then take a look around? I head to my seat. I like the view of the stands across the aisle from this concourse . My seat today is visitor supporter section B. After putting my bag down, I head to the concourse! I’ll take a look around the concession stands. This is Asahi’s One Third, a 3:1 mix of Maruef and Kuro Nama . While you can’t bring food in here, there are many cart-style stalls. This is chicken skin, a set of seven kinds of yakitori, beer, and this cabbage with salt… salted kelp and cabbage . Let’s eat !
Looks delicious! The opening ceremony has begun! The Hawks took the lead. The Tigers made a comeback in the top of the 6th inning! The Tigers won Game 1! They won!
Good job! Good job! Tigers! We won 2-1! Hanawa Tenjin branch. Good work! Speaking of the delicious sake of victory, this is Fukuoka! It ‘s motsunabe ! It goes down well with alcohol, or rather, beer. The taste of the sweet soy sauce unique to Kyushu is amazing. The noodles for the final course have arrived! The motsunabe broth. Namba Walk is bright, white , and packed with people. It’s a bit like gaslights, with stylish indirect lighting. But the shops lined up here have a similar atmosphere to Namba Walk. I headed to Hakata 1-bangai, located underground at Hakata Station. Underground food court:
Ramen , huh? Ramen… Hakata ramen? Ramen for breakfast? Well, that’s ok, but could you wait in line? I’ll go and check out the other places. This is Hakata ramen for breakfast. This one is soy sauce ramen, and this one is pork bone ramen. Is that okay? Yes,
please, please eat . It’s delicious!
Delicious? I love pork bone ramen, so this is a mentaiko bowl. This souvenir shop has a variety of options, but you can’t go wrong with the chick buns . The mentaiko is also a jindaiko! This is the mentaiko section from Kumamoto, which is like a lump of sweet sugar . Amazing , they say mentaiko section… As you ‘d expect from Menbei, menbei is mentaiko rice crackers? Oh, there’s Oyama, there’s one here, Oyama . Which one is it? Is it this one? The name makes me think of Oyama. Of course I bought it! They have something called Yuzu Mentaiko , wow, Yuzu Mentaiko is cheap . I also bought a thousand yen souvenir, so I’m heading home on the Shinkansen. Nozomi 22 bound for Tokyo. So, to sum up my trip , or rather, to sum up my experience , I went to Game 1 of the Japan Series, which was amazing . I was a little surprised at how perfectly Shimada’s tactics worked , but his stock has skyrocketed, and his value has skyrocketed. I’m planning on going to the public stadium for Game 4, the public stadium at the second-division stadium, and Koshien Stadium for Game 5 ( Hiroshima is also going to Koshien Stadium) . That said, I think of the Japan Series as a reward for working hard in the regular season.
