訪れる価値あり？ベトナムのチャム島｜チャム島ツアー

from the first time I traveled in the mid 1990s I’ve always searched for that remote hidden location that no one else was visiting unbelievably I found such a place and it was only 30 minutes from the coast of Vietnam but even more unbelievable was the price stay tuned to see this untouched paradise and how little it cost per night [Music] [Applause] [Music] so we’ve just got the grab down here to the marina next got a speedboat to Cham island, come back go and come back return ticket yeah oh return yeah yeah go and come back every day home stay say 420 where home 200 go 200 come back and including M Fe 100 pays to talk to the home stay on the island your Advanced travel plans cuz they can help you out and save a bit of money on this one not sheep stations but all adds up okay so we are on the way to Cham Island on our speed boat what they call the speed boat okay okay okay there was quite a few obstacles on our way to Cham Island so if you did have a physical disability or if you did have a lot of luggage I would recommend you made other sort of Arrangements uh like store it somewhere and just take a day bag for a couple of days or on the back of this should [Music] move now we’ve entered the open ocean the skipper has put his foot down and we are motoring now now this is a lot more fun than I expected getting rough now some of the boats that didn’t make it across the CH [Music] Island so we’re getting closer to our destination and the water’s smoothed out considerably this is a lot more enjoyable than the washing machine where were just getting a try around [Music] in back on the bikes again we’re run a little scooter this time on Cham Island it’s the only form of Transport they have on the island there’s no cars he’s got my bag in front of him as you can see doesn’t look very comfortable does he but that’s what they do the main city main Big Town you call it Big Town we’re going to small town as you can see it’s not very big busy this is not tourist season so we’re one of the few people actually on the island which is awesome didn’t do much research on this unfortunately before we come we kind of uh booked the Hotel this morning and let hope the best we booked the boat in the afternoon they said there’s only two boats a day but I don’t know I saw about four boats going the opposite way the tourist on it I don’t know what the story is here little SC is going to struggle up this [Music] hill IP luy my back a that’s why he put my bag on the front had on my back probably uh do a wheelie now I understand unfortunately die it’s got hers on her back hope she aat forward as you may have noticed they didn’t Supply a helmet so this probably isn’t the uh safest sort of trip that uh everyone would want to take so like I said it does take some caution and yes you are in a third world country so you do need to be careful starting to get little Peak views of some spectacular scenery this island is quite beautiful very Lush coming past some spectacular beaches with absolutely nobody on them this is the gold nuggets that you travel for oh it’s lost me [Music] [Applause] [Music] well it was about a 15minute ride and it had its moments but we’re here and it’s time to enjoy our tropical location here we are with the high long Homestead I want to get D’s face I thought about to look on your your face the whole [Laughter] [Music] way yourself W you no not really going for the room reveal now tropical Ireland theom YouTuber okay well that was the biggest concern airon so they’ve got that that’s okay don’t really need it’s not that it’s not as hot as um I pict so just the room bathroom’s outside not a bad thing sometimes the bathrooms aren’t great you don’t want them in your room so this place is clean so it’s bathroom Okay so we’re going to do our usual bed test fine yeah it’s a [Music] bed same same so probably the most important thing I didn’t mention was the price uh $10 yes $10 a night hello hello very friendly home stay so if you’re a custom to Five Star luxury probably not going to recommend this spot to you it’s cute it’s clean it’s beautiful but yeah the facilities are not what you would say are fantastic but was very cool kicking back with a couple of beers and listening to the Backpackers from Israel play their flute and guitar it was extremely relaxing and really was a good end to the afternoon [Music] if you just want to get away from everything and just relax on a secluded beach with no one hassling you this is your place and don’t forget dollar beers incredible stuff it definitely has that backpack of vibe that we used to get when we were traveling through Africa it’s so much like maloi and other places that are just so remote like quite quick like going down so we’re coming to the end of our first day on our exotic location on Cham Island and the Sun is setting probably wasn’t the best sunet with the clouds but we’ll hope for a better one tomorrow night still a beautiful beautiful place Good morning Vietnam day one of Cham Island after a uh difference night’s sleep we’ve woken to an overcast but cooler day the beds are a little bit vietamese I’ll say Not Unusual for vietmanese to sleep on the floor it’s pretty much what it felt like in the bed so it obviously get trained young to sleep in any sort of conditions a lot of half finished buildings on the island I don’t know whether they’re working on them either they don’t appear to be being worked on there’s nothing around them I haven’t seen people there yesterday definitely not today so the longer the five star stays away probably the better it’ll just probably ruin it you don’t want too many people on the roads here as well cuz yeah the roads as you saw yesterday were coming in you know they weren’t bad roads but quite dangerous especially there’s a bit of traffic going on we have finally got to get our basket boat ride we actually missed out in hyan we planned to do it in hyan but it never actually happened unfortunately you right I’ll get in the middle good one forness little basket not a problem at all you okay okay yeah are you okay you want me to thank you it really is quite amazing how they Row from the front of the boat with the paddle left right like a little circle action and somehow this little round thing moves forward they’ve been doing this for centuries and long who is also the owner of our home stay is doing a fantastic job 15 minutes so we have arrived at our snorkeling destination and as usual there is nobody here at all so we’ve got it all to ourself the day Trippers I think go to a different Beach which is easier to get to and long has brought us to this because we got it all to ourselves well we have stunning water conditions and good visibility the water’s very clean but unfortunately there’s just nothing much alive in here as you can see the corals fairly bleached there’s a couple of starfish there’s some smaller sort of striped fish very small it’s not what you would call a snorkeling destination unfortunately we do have to show the truth on our travels and I would love to show you beautiful coral with fish everywhere but not this time we will try again but uh Cham Island hasn’t exactly cracked up to the snorkeling destination that it advertisers but the boat trip in the basket boat was definitely worth the experience the water is extremely clean and the trip for bad 2 hours was $5 so it didn’t break the bank that’s for sure that included Your fins and snorkel and of course the boat ride here we are at the heart of the home stad the restaurant it’s been a really good Gathering area uh met some really good people and everyone’s enjoying themselves every night here it’s been a wonderful time you can sit back on the deck chairs here watch The W C Bast looking at the boats beautiful view you kick back and have a few drinks like we’ve done how’s it going Daisy and you’ve got your almost a 16-hour menu they cook from Sun up till about whenever you want okay so it’s night two and we’re getting a bit of feed going on here and we have the ordered the fried noodles haven’t had a far here yet so this is my first far and about to do taste test here Dy what do you think no two minute noodles like 2 minute Noodles put some egg but that’s what I ordered so I knew what I was getting okay yeah [Laughter] better than the fried [Music] rice say that all the time yeah wish I had this last night actually yes it’s it’s on the back Press menu which is really weird but for us it’s more like anything but for them it’s a breakfast eat it all day come on both nights after dinner we did enjoy a few beers all right that’s the grand total is 2 million 2 million yep doll thank goodness total 2 million 2 million yeah Lo everything 2 million total $80 two nights accommodation food and be lots of ears and a mama I’m a very good yeah good good come on so we’ve headed down to what’s called Big Town which is the bigger of the Two Towns down here on Cham Island apparently it’s although it’s bigger it wasn’t as busy as the area we were staying in cuz everybody was coming from here coming to our home stay for food during the day and trying to find places to eat during night time as well not sure what goes on down here at nighttime it looks like there’s markets during the day not today though yes so again there always something for sale here in Vietnam but I want to in conclusion if you’re after a bit of a relaxing getaway without all the hooting and honking of your Vietnam Mainland Cham island is definitely the place to come and chill out for a few days it’s not luxury it is Backpacker style but it is also really really fun and beautiful so back on the boat ride to it’s a bit rougher today I hope you enjoyed our video and we’ll see you Worth A Visit? Cham Island Vietnam | Cham Island Tour

Just a ripper 30-minute speedboat ride from the charming little town of Hoi An, we found ourselves on a bloody beautiful tropical Cham Island, a hidden gem that’s practically begging to be explored.

During our unforgettable two-night stay, we chilled at the Hailong homestay, where the vibe was as warm and welcoming as a mates’ BBQ. Fair dinkum, the rooms had that rustic, no-frills feel, a bit more backpacker-style, and the beds? Well, they were about as comfy as sleeping on a slab of concrete, so getting a decent kip was a bit of a mission.

But honestly, the family running the joint were absolute legends, making every moment a bit more special. Their hospitality really took the whole experience up a notch. The food was simple but hit the spot, just enough to keep us fueled for our daily adventures. And don’t get me started on the $1 beers – bloody bargain, and just what we needed to kick back after a day of exploring. The views? Nothing short of jaw-dropping, leaving us gobsmacked at the natural beauty around us.

All in all, it was a truly unique experience, packed with both challenges and bloody awesome surprises.
